Have you tried BidsTick?
A reader just told us that they won a laptop back in May and have not received it.

A commenter on  a Youtube testimonial also said they have not received their item. However, there are many testimonials on Youtube so we are not quite sure.

BidsTick has 15 auctions ending right now-but it does look like they have reserves on their items.
Quote:

What Does i and R mean under auctions?

An i under an auction can be clicked to find the description on the item. You should always read this to make sure you are bidding on something you really want. This will also tell you if there are extra steps to take if you win this item such as emailing customer service with the version, color ect. that you want. The R means that this auction might have a reserve on it.

It looks like they sponsor children in Africa.

As always, please share your experiences (problems/and praises) with BidsTick and all other penny auction sites in our forum.
Thank you!

Now, bidsticks.com said I was used stolen card. But I ever used stolen card from penny auction site and I paid with paypal. Their excuse is I used stolen card that is why they did not ship out the items. which is lie. I paid with paypal account.

Yeah same here waiting 11 weeks not and still have not receieved any items. I put a complaint in through the BBB of las angeles. We need to do an audit of this place, and get our items. I have the exact same conversations as you did. They just keep changing the subject and say its your fault for them being a fraud. So I just put it through the BBB. You can try to put a complaint through plimus too.

I think a lot of people who are crying scam probably lost money on these auctions. I personally, have lost money. But I also won, too. I can't vouch for swoopo, but I won an apple Ipod on Bidstick for less than $6. I think it's great that someone has found a way to sell items for pennies on the dollar. I mean who wouldn't want to buy 42" flatscreen hdtv for $50. You don't see that happening on ebay. You may not have to buy bids on ebay but you're not going to get anywhere near the same deals that penny auctions offer. And furthermore, if the penny auctions didn't charge per bid they couldn't offer you those deals. So, if you think penny auctions are a scam, maybe you should assume department stores are a scam, too. They dupe people into buying products for 300% markup. So, too bad, so sad. Don't get mad. This is just the world we live in.

I won an apple ipod for about $20 in bids. I can't vouch for all the auction sites but bidstick seems legit. I was a little disappointed that it took so long to get the item, though. It took about 2 months, but I got it.

There Shipping Isn't The Fastest, I Got My NetBook From them but It Took Like Nine And A Half Weeks I Sent Emails And they told Me That It Takes Awhile For Them To be Notified If A Stolen Credit Card Had been Used Anyways I Got It For 12 dollars plus shipping which means it was like free so whatever..

I received the won item so they are not a scam. I feel they are just very slow on shipping items. Also I feel that they would do better as a site to have many gift cards like the BidCactus, does. BidCactus usually ships your won auction no later then 20 days the most and that is why they are related number 1 Penny Auction site. But I sure do love those expensive stuff they have on the BidSticks Site.

Bidsticks is a total scam!!! No, I am not complaining because I lost a lot of money. In fact I won a few item, cheap auctions like a shuffle and gift basket. I did get shipment for these items after I complained to the company several time about not receiving my packages. I received my packages over 2 months later.

The one big ticket item I won was an Apple imac for $0.01. I finally got an answer from bidstick who claimed that there was an error in the timer and because of that my auction is void. What a total scam because I also won a vetch game system within minutes of winning the second auction. The timer ran out and it said I won the auction there was no malfunction. They of course are refusing to send me the Apple imac because they would be losing $1000. So it seem small items that they are not at a lost for profit they will send, but big ticket items they will come up with an excuse why the auction is void

I will be contacting the better business bureau. Be careful of actual high ticket items you won. They lied to me and said they sent me several emails about this matter. This is the first time I have gotten any response to my emails.

This site is a total scam. I sent them multiple emails asking where my product was and then tried calling the number listed on their website. I got a message that their Google Phone was not available. Is this a 1 man operation being run through a cell phone? Seriously!!! They probably operate a shell company out of a virtual or rented office suite and don't have any staff at all. I would advise EVERYONE TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM BIDSTICK!!! This guy is making tens of thousands of Dollars a day and doesn't even have a customer service department to answer the phone. RIPOFF!!! SCAM!!! FRAUD!!! CRIMINAL!!!

I just won 2 items, so we’ll see how long it takes them to send them. I sent an email to support asking a question about shipping, and haven’t received a response yet.

Hey, peeps. I won sum auctions and recieved my won items after roughly 3 weeks. I got concerned that it was takin a while, so i email cust svc using the email address scrolling across top of screen. they contacted me promptly and said that it takes 6-8 week becuz they use amazon. thats why you can get anythin from them shipped for 5 bucks. that works for me. Good luck and happy bidding.

Bidstick is a scam.

I bought $70 worth of bids and over kept playing over 2 hours.

I also watched the Apple Desktop which recounts every 3 seconds on a new bid.

I TIMED THEM!

There are 4 players (with not realistic usernames) each of them bid at a rate of about 2 bids every 3 seconds … thats about $40 (or 40 bids per minute).

Thats $2,400 spent by 4 players over 1 hour and they are still playing after 2 hours.

Seriously – who the hell would pay over $5,000 for a laptop AND how is it possible that 4 players would all be in the market at the same time for that length of time?

It may be a HUGE coincidence and maybe I am wrong … but this is bullshit!
