buckbidzThe new penny auction BuckBidz.com just wrote to us today to tell us that they are hoping to soon auction a “World Tour Vacation Package” worth up to $19,000 sometime in the next month.

The vacation is said to include Europe, Asia, and South America. This adventurous auction will start at just $0.01.

According to Website Outlook, Buck Bidz currently gets 305 page views a day and has an Alexa ranking of 3,606,253. These stats seem to be pretty low, but it does look they they’ve been quite successful judging by the amount of bidders  on their auctions.

buckbidz.com Estimated Worth $671.6 USD

Title Buckbidz.com – online penny auction

It looks like Buck Bidz is using the Net4Bids style auction script, (the same penny auction software that Liberty Bids and Flying High Auctions use) and we do know that Liberty Bids had bots in the script as well as hidden reserves, but we are not sure about Buck Bidz.  There do seem to be many bidders bidding on the current auctions. buck bidz penny auction bid historyRight now (12:44 AM EST) Buck Bidz is auctioning off three items:  a Playstation 3 160GB, a Macbook Pro and the Dell Studio XPS laptop; all three items that are being auctioned have a combined retail value of $3747.

Buck Bidz also tells us that they donate 10% of profits to the Salvation Army.

Back to Net4Bids script, if you take a look at the admin panel on a similar Swoopo Clone test site you will see that autobidding bots are possible to do, but we are not saying that Buck Bidz is indeed doing this, just something to keep in mind.

Once you’ve signed in click on Admin.

Now you’ve signed into the Feisty Sites CMS admin control panel. Do you see where it says  Manage Users? Click on that and a drop down will show up with the Auto Bidders feature. As you can see the autobidder/shill bidder feature is not a difficult feature for auction owners to use. Like the Victorian Mansion? (That was our idea ;) ) The Yikebike too, it sure is neat but look at the price!

What do you think of Buck Bidz?  Have you tried it? Share your experiences with us in the penny auction forum.

Just checked it out and the three auctions ending now are all at 111.75. Thant is really odd, I think I would watch this site for awhile before buying bids. That is my opinion.
