RockyBid.com has once again joined the ranks of E-Bay and other world-famous websites. Now there are people out there actually sending spoof (fraudulent) e-mails to our members, trying to steal your account info and money. Be careful and keep the following information in mind…
You will never receive an email from RockyBid.com asking you:
– For your name, address and/or payment information
– To submit your username and/or password (those are only used to log in to the website)
– To make an offer on a closed auction
– TO wire or send money through Western Union or any other service
If you get an unsolicited e-mail from someone claiming they are from RockyBid.com look carefully.
First of all it should come from an email address @rockybid.com (not yahoo or any other domain).
Do not follow any links that take you to other websites or that ask you to enter any information.
Keep in mind that in most cases RockyBid calls our customers. Yes, although there are a ton of you, we take the time to contact our customers personally to inform you of issues or discuss your account.
But stay alert! We will not ask you for your password or to wire us any money. So if the weirdo on the other side of the line asks you for those things he is an imposter, a dirty, rotten imposter!
