Update: ABidAway.com has e-mailed to tell us that the users that had email addresses @abidaway.com were created by them but were people locally and they set up the accounts for them, and apparently their e-mail addresses too for promo bids…He wanted to clear that up, so you can read his response here: (And bid on any site you want to, as always)

Just a few days ago when I found AbidAway.com and placed the two free bids that are given to users when they signup, it became apparent to me that they were employing bot bidders, it has been known that the PHPPennyauction.com script (that this site is using) currently offers the bot bidder function in their script.
After I found that bots were bidding on the auctions I sent the owner this message:

Now today I am pretty sure that ABidAway.com has been shill bidding, not with bots but by manual bids. I have what I think to be definitive evidence that at least 3 users: fasteddy, foundwaldo and powerking are shill bidders by ABidAway.com.
I think this is pretty shameful, especially after taking into consideration this e-mail I receieved from ABidAway.com:

I am very ashamed of this penny auction site and apologize to all PAW readers for having promoted their free bid promotion ABidAway.com was given a second chance by me and they cannot say I did not warn them.
