Have You Bid on Bid-Card.com?

Quite often Penny Auction Watch forum members are disappointed when they see “poser/imposter” bidders  (other bidders using their usernames) on various penny auction sites. Additionally, many members, when checking out a new penny auction, look to see if they can find any familiar bidders. One concern of ours has always been that a site could use existing penny auction bidder’s usernames to act as usernames for their fake, robot bidders, we think that we may have found a site that is doing just that.

Have you bid on Bid-Card.com?

Today we found an ad online for the penny auction site Bid-Card.com, Bid Card, LLC, Colorado. Seeing as Bid-Card is running on PhpPennyAuction.com’s penny auction software we took a look at the exposed code with Firebug.

We found bidders with no e-mail addresses, one is a “poser.”

If you take a look at the above screenshot (click to enlarge), you will see that the e-mail addresses of bidders are exposed and none of the winning bidders had e-mail addresses associated with their accounts. How can a bidder even register and win if they didn’t provide an e-mail address? Easy, they could be fake bidders. See our previous article on PHPPennyAuction bidding bots and Firebug for more details. What also took us by surprise was the fact that one of their winner’s is “dirtyjerz,” dirtyjerz is a PAW forum member that bids on Haggle & other penny auction sites. Well, we e-mailed dirtyjerz to see whether or not he actually did win an item on Bid-Card.com, his response, “I have never even heard of bid-card.com before so definitely an imposter or bot.

Ok, now since we weren’t sure if the no e-mail address in between the ” ” in this case meant that these users didn’t have e-mail addresses or if they were hidden, so to test this out we registered with the username “RealBidder” and placed a bid, sure enough our e-mail address shows up, while the other bidder before us (and many of previous winners) do not have an e-mail address:

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more pops over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you yet know about the problem. Sexual malfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is something to that “headache” saying after all.

Here is a big tip on that too bidders, particularly on new sites.

If you see a lot of what I consider premium Gift Card auctions (amazon, walmart, Target, Applebees, BestBuy, etc) These vendors have chosen to be excluded from penny auctions, unless you are really big and well established with the BBB already.

These merchants have to approve each and every site that decides to auction their product, so a new site listing a bunch of those premium cards, means they are probably taking a chance. This doesn’t mean they are not legit, just something to consider.

    =D
