UPDATE: BidtimeLive.com has so far NOT shipped items out and has stopped responding from our e-mails, we’ve moved this penny auction to our red flags section of the forum. 7/22/10
On Saturday, we told you about our member’s concerns of not receiving items in over 1 month from penny auctions BidTimeLive & Bidtime25.com. We have good news! Today we received a response from BidTime, they told us that due to many unfortunate charge backs they have been slow to ship, but they assure us that they are still there and will be shipping items out this week:
“Everything is and will be going out this week. We have been having to do a lot of work on our end adding programming in an attempt to not ever get in this situation again. Not only have we had many fraudulent charges these past few months. We also sent out a lot of product over top to further add to the loss. We have gotten everything finally sorted out and we will be getting everything caught up with this week. We more then anyone dislike the fact that we have had to regroup and it has caused others to worry. We are not some fly by night company we know so many of our users have had to deal with in the past. Which makes it even harder when they have dealt with so much from other companies.
We plan and hope to be around for a long time but in order to do so we have had to add somethings so that we can better monitor our clients. There are so many great people we have met and enjoy every bit of there company. But there are so many people out there just like our clients have to be skeptical we do as well. Everyone is out to get over on the next person. At least on our clients end they have someone to blame. It is near impossible to get anything done on our behalf when things such as fraud happen.
By far is it or are we blaming any of this on our clients and we do feel bad that they have had to suffer with us until we have sorted this mess out. “
