Is LittleBidz.com Legit?

A reader recently e-mailed us to take a look at the penny auction site LittleBidz.com.
She writes:
“Take a look at LittleBidz because if you check the closed auctions, you will see things are going cheap but when I bid, things goes up high. I didn’t bid for a while now because I am waiting for feedback from you. 🙂
And a couple of times, I tried bidding when no one else would and my bid would not go through! I even had my friends and family observe this site with me while I’m bidding. I had done a dispute with this company with Paypal two months back because they only had floor auctions(bids would have to reach a certain price in order to win) and lost since they claimed I got my bids. But, they put everything now as no floor, meaning you can win without the item reaching a certain amount.
I won two items the first time I bid after losing the case and won a game and a tool set which was not shipped out. With this kind of business practice, I am wondering how they have customers. I am still waiting for the won items. By the way, I knew I was going to win because they set that up. Then the following day, the bidding was different. I saw someone on twitter ask if they practice shill bidding and they tweeted back no but from that day on, they never logged back on twitter.”

A few of the users on LittleBidz have usernames that don’t seem real & we know that the script they are running on has been known to allow reserve prices enforced by bot bidders:

Here are a few of the many usernames that, in our opinion, seem like they could be indications that they are using bots:

  • nystudd222,
  • next2nothing
  • iheartskates,
  • lalalaiowa,
  • yurtlethefrog,
  • babybugss1,
  • coolbeans, boarderdan, thevip333, soogarnspice, itybitycar, worldtrvler1, herbie1, freddie13, Fireman16, oatfloat55, wannabe99, laXrunner, iluvscience, skibunny, jambafan, anchor4, giantpeach, zombieparty1, reigningmen, broncodude, runwit98

LittleBidz’ current Alexa traffic ranking: very low  9,629,792

LittleBidz’ WebsiteOutlook estimated pageviews/day: 114

These are low numbers considering the number of bidders on their site.

It’s also interesting to note that LittleBidz has taken the following trademark names of other penny auction sites and put them in their meta description: Swoopo, QuiBids, BidRodeo, BidZilla, and RockyBid.

A forum member posted the following comment on our penny auction forum thread on LittleBidz after they removed the floor prices/ reserves in May:

“hi i would appreciate if you could refund my last bid pack that i bought. For the 100.00 gift card there was about 11 bidders bidding on it and sold about 4 bids after i put my last bid in. The subway card had about 6 bidders and ended about 5 bids after i put in the last bid. I think you might have some hidden reserves that you don’t sell your item to a real bidder untill you make a certain amount of money. Also when will you be shipping out my ipod. I was hoping to get that for a friend. I sent an email last sunday and never got a reply.”

What do you think, is LittleBidz.com legit? Have you won & received your items?

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more popular over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you already know about the matter. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is some to that “headache” saying after all.

THIS site needs to have M.I.B.’S(Men in black) play knock-knock on ther business. They violated FTC regs by not putting up the warning screen BEFORE, requiring that you are TOLD that you are about to be charged $199.00 to “GET INTO THE SITE BEFORE YOU CAN LOOK AROUND”. Because of them, my bank I.D. card was charged $40.00 for n.s.i fee( insufficient funds). that will not be refunded. I am a retired vet living on a fixed income and can’t afford crap like this!! I contacted the on-line-operator and told her that the website needed repair and that I did not want to have 64 bids to use on their site. She said she would cancel the account but couldn’t credit the funds back. I told her that the card would bounce and I’d be charged n.s.i fees. She said she couldn’t do anything about that. I told her supervisor the same thing and he refused to cooperate, soo-o-o I called my bank and had them freeze the charge. I hope I get this credit back! I need the cash to pay my utilities and medical bills. SPREAD THE WORD- VIA INTERNET- DO NOT ASSOCIATE YOUR SELF WITH THIS BUSINESS. I’m having the FTC investigate them as well as th IRS! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!
