Varied & Unique Items on Buy-it-Now Site ShopBig.com!

by Amanda Lee on December 31, 2010

Have you bid on ShopBig.com? ShopBig is a penny auction site that provides a 100% Buy It Now option on all of their items, this means if you spend $30 in bids on a $30 item you can have the item even if you don’t win, another example: you spent 18 bids on a $25 item, your bid are worth $10.80 you didn’t win, but you can “Buy it Now” and pay $14.20 and receive an item instead of lose the $10.80.

ShopBig is also mixing it up a bit by offering items & a community bid back feature that we haven’t seen on other penny auctions.

Upcoming unique items:

  • Whirley Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper,
  • Nesco 700-Watt Food Dehydrator,
  • Trumpette Infant’s Mary Jane Sock Set,
  • Kate Spade Canvas Kindle Covers,
  • Logitech diNovo Mini Wireless Keyboard
  • and a VuPoint Magic Wand Portable Scanner.
  • Past items have included ice cream machines, projectors and Coach handbags.

It’s always refreshing to see item offerings go beyond the usual!

Bids on ShopBig.com start at $0.60/each

Win Limits: One (1) win allowed for any item $500.00 and above. One (1) win allowed for any item $300 to $499. Three (3) wins for any item from $200 to $299. You can win up to eight (8)items under $200.

Bid Exchange: ShopBig allows users to exchange wins for bids.

Community Bid “Piggy Bank:” “If the value of the bids is greater than the cost of the items our Community won that month, we transfer 25% of the value of each and every bid over this amount to the Community Piggy Bank. We then distribute the whole monthly Community Piggy Bank to all of the active bidders of that month on a pro-rata basis in the form of voucher bids.”

PAW members have won & received items.
