Penny Auction Watch Founder Joins the Entertainment Auction Association as a Board Member

eaa badgeI started Penny Auction Watch in May of 2009 to fill a need in an industry where the rules had not even been set, where there was little information that could be obtained. PAW members coined terms, shared our reviews and experiences.

From early on we let the world know that shill bidding and failure to deliver on promised goods was, and still is, unacceptable, and we will not stray from our mission. With the help of many members, we brought to light shady operators, which in turn holds penny auction operators to a higher standard.

Penny Auction Watch has contributed to shaping the penny auction industry for the better, but more needs to be done to legitimize the industry.

There have been a lot of bumps along the road, and of course I’ve come to find that those bumps just come with the territory. Now, nearly 2 1/2 years from our inception, government and media is taking notice, and they don’t like to see unsuspecting consumers stolen from either.

After much dismay the voice of the consumer is finally being heard. More and more penny auction owners and script developers see that they can’t just take the easy way, the wrong way, and get away with it.

As a bidder I have found occasional pleasure in penny auction bidding. I believe in educating prospective and current penny auction bidders just as much as I believe that the sites who appear to be making an effort to stand for ethically conducting their businesses should not be punished due to a few very bad apples.

With that said, Penny Auction Watch is proud and honored to join the Entertainment Auction Association [http://entertainmentauctionassociation.com/] as a board member.

I believe that penny auctions NEED regulation, and the Entertainment Auction Association is a step in the right direction.

The EAA is a California non-profit trade organization.  I stand behind their mission:

“To promote integrity within the entertainment auction industry through a strict code of conduct, audits of members, and fines for non-compliance.

Specifically:

  • Ensure that all members do not engage in any unethical practices in their auctions
  • Ensure that all products are shipped as promised
  • Ensure that all marketing practices adhere to the FTC’s truth in advertising policies
  • Ensure that customers are treated honestly and fairly at all times”
The EAA’s goal, as is mine, is to protect penny auction consumers.
  • Code of ConductCode of Conduct

Members commit that consumers are being treated honestly and fairly at all times

  • AuditAudit

Membership requires periodic audits by an American Institute of CPAs firm

  • Seal of approvalSeal of Approval

Look for the seal on any auction site before playing times

  • Non-profit organizationlNon-Profit Organization

The sole purpose of the association is to promote integrity in the entertainment auction
    industry

The current members of the EAA include penny auctions BidCactus.com (founder) and BidSwap.com.

The Entertainment Auction Association was recently mentioned in the Wall Street Journal. Read the article: As Penny Auctions Grow, Regulators and Plaintiffs Watch

I am encouraging that all legit penny auction sites become audited and join the Entertainment Auction Association. I believe that they are raising the bar and setting the standard.

Together we can clean up the penny auction industry and provide a better experience for the consumer.

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more pop over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you along know about the question. Sexual disfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is slightly to that “headache” saying after all.

Sorry, Amanda but you are a total joke. Are you really serious or just making jokes?

    copy/paste:

The EAA is a California nonprofit corporation that formed an industry trade association, with the sole purpose of promoting integrity within the entertainment auction (also referred to as “entertainment shopping” or “penny auction”) industry. <———- NONPROFIT

Applicants must keep in mind that:
    •Membership is not automatic
•The initial membership dues are $5,000. Annual membership dues have not yet been set <——- $5,000

nonprofit corporation asks $5,000 from one company? 🙂
    ——————————-

Entertainment Auction Association are even worst scam than penny auctions and also Penny Auction Watch if giving that kind of stupid/childish information.

Amanda do you really think that we ALL are so stupid ones here?
