Remembering Steve Jobs: Enter to Win 1 of 3 Copies of Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson Biography Contest

Enter to win the Penny Auction Watch Remembering Steve Jobs Giveaway – Details below
Steve Jobs Biography GiveawayLast week, with Steve Jobs’ passing, the world lost a great innovator, inventor, entrepreneur, expert marketer, genius, visionary.

Steve Jobs left behind a legacy.

He dared to be different.

He wasn’t afraid of failure.

Many of us have grown to rely on his products, for some of us a Macintosh was our very first computer.

I have fond memories of learning how to use a computer as I typed up book reports and played with Kid Pix in the 3rd grade while on a Mac.

It is without a doubt that Steve Jobs revolutionized the way many of us live & interact with the world.

The iPod has changed the way we listen to music.

The iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch can do things we probably could hardly have even dreamed of 10 years ago. Only 65 years ago the first computer (ENIAC) weighed 50 tons!?

iPads, iPods and iPhones can replace cookbooks, books, encyclopedias even, magazines, pocket address books and calendars, GPS’/compass, mirrors (kind of ;)), digital picture frames,  alarm clocks, video game consoles, TVs, portable DVD players, computers, radio. They provide us with a connection to the world can can fit in our pockets, purses, you name it.

The nano can now even be doubled as a wristwatch.

The iPad is being used in lieu of textbooks in many schools and universities. In fact, 600 school districts are replacing many textbooks with the iPad.

Many of you have iPhones. Did you know that over 108 million iPhones (3/11 have been sold worldwide?

Thanks to penny auctions many of us have been able to afford Apple’s many wonderful tech gadgets.

It wasn’t until I bid on my first penny auction in 2009 that I was able to own an iPod. It was a brand new iPod touch, and I was overjoyed when I won it for around $50 in bids.

Jobs had the courage that many of us wish we had. Believe that you can have it too, because you can.

Steve Jobs’ legacy should inspire all of us to think outside the box, to challenge the status quo.

Not only did he not know what to do with his life…

  • He dropped out of college,
  • Slept on the floor instead of in a dorm
  • Went hungry
  • Backpacked around India
  • Called up William Hewlett of HP for help with a school project (he even got a job offer out of it)
  • Got fired from Apple
  • Supported Pixar in its early days
  • Turned the fate of Apple around from near bankruptcy into the greatest tech companies in the world today
  • Taught us to follow our heart & intuition.

Amidst Jobs’ so many successes, he had “failures” as well, which, according to ABC: Steve Jobs – Top 10 Products “without them, as Jobs openly said, some of the greatest triumphs would never have happened.”

Never give up. Out of failure can come great success.
“Almost everything–all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure–these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.” – Steve Jobs’ Stanford Commencement Address
When you bid on the iPod, iPad, iMac, MacBook, Apple TV, iPhone, MacBook Air (and I really do hope that more penny auctions start to sell more Apple products),  take a moment to remember Steve Jobs.

His life of Jobs is without doubt the most eagerly anticipated book of the season. Available 10/24.”-B&N

A few of my favorite quotes from Steve Jobs:

Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations.” – via

“Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.”

“I was worth over $1,000,000 when I was 23, and over $10,000,000 when I was 24, and over $100,000,000 when I was 25, and it wasn’t that important because I never did it for the money.”

“My job is not to be easy on people. My jobs is to take these great people we have and to push them and make them even better.” – All About Steve Jobs

“Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?” – As quoted or paraphrased in Young Guns: The Fearless Entrepreneur’s Guide to Chasing Your Dreams and Breaking Out on Your Own (2009) by Robert Tuchman

“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.” – via

“We don’t get a chance to do that many things, and every one should be really excellent. Because this is our life. Life is brief, and then you die, you know? And we’ve all chosen to do this with our lives. So it better be damn good. It better be worth it.” – Fortune

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” – Think Different, narrated by Steve Jobs

My condolences go out to Steve’s family & loved ones.

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more pops over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you along know about the matter. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is slightly to that “headache” saying after all.
