StickyBids.com Goes Offline and Up for Sale Leaving Bidders Wondering If They Will Get Their Wins

Penny auction site StickyBids.com is now down and their site is up for sale on the popular web e-commerce site Flippa.com. StickyBids is currently listed at auction for $1,050 with an undisclosed reserve that has not yet been met. The buy-it now price for the 1+ year old penny auction site that launched last March is listed to be $39,840.

“Why Selling?

We have an opportunity to enter a completely different industry and would like to liquidate. We feel that now would be the perfect time to hand over the reigns to a team of professionals that will be able to provide the same dedication to our customers as we have had. Just last month, we had decided to go under maintenance so we could complete the ‘Buy It Now” program, among a few other upgrades. Everything is just about complete. With the opportunities that we have been presented with over the past few weeks, we have given this great thought and we feel that now would be the perfect time to make this transition with the business & reopen under new ownership/management. With the proper management to prioritize our customers, along with a great marketing plan, Stickybids can continue to be a great success for all.”

While we wish StickyBids all the best in their time of transition, it is not fair to consumers that they seemingly not updated them on fulfillment of outstanding won items. A few bidders tell us that they have yet to receive items from the site, while before they went down they did tell one user that they were two weeks behind on shipping items out.

StickyBids claims an average net profit of $8,158 per month. They are based in Georgia and do hold the required Georgia auctioneering license, something that got the state shut-down penny auction Wavee.com into a lot of trouble for not having. The penny auction states to have 4,254 registered members. The software their site runs on is from PennyAuctionSoft.

Have you bid at StickyBids and won items? What do you think about this sale? Definitely let us know whether or not you hear from them and they do indeed fulfill items, we sure hope so! We’ll try to reach StickyBids for comment, and hopefully they’ll post a follow-up here!

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more pops over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you afore know about the question. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is slightly to that “headache” saying after all.

Just sent them an email and it was returned to me, I have a gift card and diamond earrings that I won and accepted the day before they shut down and didn’t have a chance to pay for them, sounds like I can stop wondering about my wins. Thanks for the info.

I have 8 outstanding items from sticky bids, five from last July! Some were won and some were buy it now.The only response I get is that they are working on it. They blame the problem with the July items on a third party who processes their credit card payments for not releasing the funds. This makes no sense to me.

I won three items and paid for them the night before they shut down. I have tried email…..they were sent back. I tried the website….no reply. I tried the phone number on their Facebook…it is a Chevy dealer. Please let me know what you find out and/ or who to contact about this. I have been a supporter of Sticky since the very beginning and would hate to see them go off with a bad reputation. Thanks.

I had an outstanding item from last July.
kept getting the same run-around about it not being their fault, and that I would have to wait till the “funds” were released.
They had no interest in responding to my emails towards the end…

I really wonder if anyone every actually recieved won items from them. Or if it was just a scam the whole time.
