Bidrivals Update: Files for Dissolution, to be Back Soon Under New Ownership

For those of you who have bid on BidRivals and are unsure what’s going on, we found out that they have both filed for a resolution for dissolution on April 27th, and we just heard back from BidRivals management.

The following “Notice of a resolution for dissolution and consequential voluntary winding up” was posted by GamblingNerd.com: Bidrivals dissolution filing.

Last week we were told that Bidrivals was having problems, perhaps even liquidating. Today we were just informed by contacts at Bidrivals.com that they are now under new ownership, and Johan Albinsson of Bidrivals told us, yesterday:

“The company will not be liquidated as the rumors are saying. The website will be back online within two weeks with new and attractive auctions.

We will honor our commitments towards all customers and we will deliver all products won on the site and all products bought with the buy now option.

The reasons for us being offline at the moment are that we are conducting technical, organizational and technical improvements in order to deliver an even better service to all our customers.

We have but one goal for BidRivals and that is to secure the existence of the company for many years to come to be able to offer our new and existing customers the best penny auction site possible.

The following message is now being sent out to Bidrivals.com members:

“We sincerely apologize for the delayed response that you have experienced while we have been trying to resolve our current problems.

BidRivals is currently going through a change in ownership, which will entail substantial investment and re organization.

All customers will receive their products that they won, or purchased using Buy Now, and we will honor our commitments to our customers.

We will be re launching the site as soon as we can, and we will be contacting you with regard to your deliveries as soon as we can process them, under the change of ownership.

As far as who the new owners are we are not sure, but will continue to update you as we can.
