BidPlayers.com is a brand new penny auction site that just opened up for registration with a launch date set for August 8th, 2012. Read our interview with BidPlayers’ founder to learn more about this new penny auction!

Penny Auction Watch: What got you interested in the entertainment shopping industry?

BidPlayers: After playing on a couple of the sites, we saw how fun and exciting it is to win items at a huge discount instead of buying items at retail pricing.  We however had questions about the legitimacy of the winners as it seems the same person wins time after time.  We are offering a 100% authentic auction experience that is 100% legit and fair.  We want everyone who tries to win something.

Penny Auction Watch: When does BidPlayers launch?

BidPlayers:  BidPlayers is launching on August 8^th 2012.  We have been doing research and development since December of 2011.  We are at the beginning and excited to bring you the greatest action site on the web.  Our advertising campaign is about to kick off and get things rolling.

Penny Auction Watch: What kind of items do you have lined up?  Do your auctions run on a schedule?

BidPlayers: At BidPlayers, we will have a large variety of items including electronics, gift cards, vacation packages, air line tickets as well as smaller unique items for kids and adults.  We would like to auction a smart car for the new year. Help us get there!!!!!  On our launch we are offering a 50 inch TV and will do big items daily, weekly, and monthly.

Penny Auction Watch: What are the timer increments between bids/does this vary by auction? 

BidPlayers:  Our reset times vary from 5 seconds to 30 seconds depending on the item and amount of people bidding.

Penny Auction Watch: How much are your bids? 

We call our bids “BONES”  Our bones range from .20 cents to .60 cents. We will be offering the best value for your bid money in the market today.  Check our our site for details.  www.bidplayers.com

Penny Auction Watch: What are your shipping costs? How long does it usually take for users to receive their items?

BidPlayers: Shipping is one of our top priorities. Shipping cost is pretty low, from $0.99 to $24.99 for very big and heavy item. We try to make it as low as we can.

We understand that customers have paid for bids, and spent their time to play on the auctions. So, when they win, we usually ship out the prize immediately after their payments. Items should arrive within 1-3 business days.

Penny Auction Watch: What states/countries are you open to?

BidPlayers:  Currently, we are only open to the US residents.

Penny Auction Watch: What is your policy for bid refunds?    

BidPlayers: We have refund policy for purchased bones. Customer are definitely confident when joining us because they can ask for refund at anytime for their unused purchased bones.

Bonus bones are not subject to refund.

Penny Auction Watch: Are there any win limits, limits /household? 

BidPlayers: Play and win as much as you can as long as there is no collusion we are happy to have you winning.  We will have certain auctions for players who have not won yet or have not won that week or month.  We will also have ‘Bid Champion”  auctions for those that have proven to be winners and win regularly.

Penny Auction Watch: Is there a story behind your  name/theme?

Bid Players is named for the consumers that are on our site.  You have to be a “player” to play.  It just makes sense.
