Penny auction site Zeekler.com, whose MLM program has brought tons of spam marking postings to the Penny Auction Watch forum is now under investigation by the SEC, Secret Service and the NC Attorney General’s office, reports The Davidson County Dispatch todayZeekler Under Investigation.
Zeekler voluntarily shut down yesterday, August 16th.

We tested Zeekler out and were very dismayed to find that their contact form for customer service returned an error code on multiple attempts.
Interesting to see that the Secret Service and SEC is taking notice to this penny auction site.
State Attorney General offices have, in the past, investigated penny auctions and even shut a few down, for instance PennyBiddr.com, the site we found proof of shill bidding at and others.

Its funny how all the older sites like bidify and newer ones like bid ambassador are the same as zeek with a little tweeking to avoid regulators……if zeek does the same thing they might return……the govt will be closing the rest of them if zeek does not return….

I always knew there was something fishy going on with that site/affiliate program.
Good thing I didn’t buy into it all…
