I received the email as well. It will be interesting to see how the new ownership responds. I was always pleased with the previous management but did not like the lack of card value and increase in the number of auctions.

Hopefully the good stays and the negative goes away.

I will definitely watch for the Grand Re-Opening.

That is the plan. I have spoken to the new owner many times and he wants to increase the products and make Bidash grow how it should. I wish the issues that i was having with my partner resolved, but no luck. Sooo Bidash has been taken over and i will be assisting the new owner for a month or so.

I believe Bidash has gained a lot of respect for it's customer services and has done well with shipping times etc.. I will make sure that they focus on these two values to keep the integrity of the site only to make it better with much better products.

Hi, I just got back from work and ready to bid on Bidash Penny Auction, offering brand named products for a fraction of the cost. | Bidash.com and noticed no auctions going on?

I got 3 whole days off for the 4th of July to do some bidding and first place I want to bid with the sites that I have bids left but looks like I got to bid elsewhere first. Everyone, have a great safe and fun 4th of July.

Hi Dragonball. I am the new owner of bidash. We ran some auctions erlier in the day but was in the process of upgrading our server and did not want to run any during that time to avoid any problems. We were having some e-mailing issues and hoping this upgrade will resolve it. New items have been placed for auction today and will begin listing them for a few days ahead as well.

The daily limit is currently at 1 win per day but we are trying something new called "Auctin Limit Removed". Basically if you won an auction earlier on in the day, you can still bid on this particular item which will run after 10pm ET. If we run 2 items under this program, you may only win 1 per night.

For all bidpacks purchased today, receive 20% extra bids. Use "PENNY" as the coupon code when checking out.

Thank you for your response. 1 win limit a day is great! Some places they have 2 or 3 per 7 days for win limit which makes you forget about bidding on those sites unless the win items are attractive of course. Also thank you for the coupon code I will redeem them today.

Thank you and I will be able to bid at nights and weekend. Only thing is that I be home around 6pm PST so maybe one or two items are left for me to bid. Some sites have auto bidder or bid buddy so that I could set them in the morning before I go to work. I'm not sure if the bidash has that or not. See you around too.

I like the layout of the site, but i don't think i'll be staying. I looked and there were several items going for a rather good price, yet the two items i bid on went for way more bids than the average seemed to be.
We'll see though

If they buy a bid pack you can get 15 free bids. I need to change the front of the website because it still says 10, but it is however 15.

Glad to see some recent changes at bidash. Having people use paid bids for bidpack auctions is a step in the right direction. Another suggestion: How about limiting auctions at $99 and above to one win per week per person? There may be another formula that's better, so would like to hear from others on this.

I am glad you like the fact we moved away from the free bid auctions. When we first took over we were no too happy with that and finally found a way to work around the current set up temporarily. We just hired a programmer today to work on our auction limit functionality. The script we are using is very basic and only allows limits throughout the day, like 1 in the morning and 1 at night. We are having the programmer install the function to have daily, weekly and monthly limits. Once we have that in place we will take a look at the $ limits as well. One of our users just said the same thing, not sure if you are her or not. I think it is a good idea. But right now just trying to get the basic done first.

I am hoping PAW approves bidash for a directory spot soon so I can get some reviews on there.

Hi Dragon ball,

Sorry for the delay in responding. Due to licensing limitations we have to make most of our updates on the live web page. So the past few weekends as well as a few coming up we will not be running any auctions on the weekends due to the nature of the updates we are working on. We do not want to risk anything happening to live auctions. We feel this is the safest way to work.

Just to update everyone else. This past weekend we have finished adding a buy-it-now feature. We have applied it to a few up coming auctions and will slowly work it into the site and hope to have it in most upcoming auctions by week end.

Just a few upcoming features we are looking into will be:
1. eliminate one of the two auto bidding features users can set up. These are called Sniper and Bid Buddy. (Never understood why there were 2)
2. change our payment portal. We were tied down to this particular portal due to how the script was currently running but feel it is time to improve this function.
3. the overall appearance of the site
4. we will be looking into offering bid refunds to go along with the buy-it-now feature. This way if you did not win, you have the option to buy-it-now or get a partial refund of the bids you placed.

Hi, I just came back from work and saw the $100 auction I had placed with my user name Vanished. I didn't know it's 10 wins per month now. I did received the e-mail tonight as I checked the new win limit. For those of you didn't know it's not 1 win per day now so just head up so that you will know the win limit as well. ;) Since I can't bid I mind as well watch how others will bid tonight. I got to get my chips and soda ready. LOL

Anyone else having any problems with bid buddy at the bidash? I had put in 260 bids on bid buddy it stopped at 24 cents so I can't complain that I lose the auction but it strange why it stopped all of the sudden. I just went to the kitchen and get some snack in the microwave came back and noticed the auction is over what the heck

I will send them ticket so that the site could check it out. This is the 1st time it happened on this site for me. Everything else has been great.

I was wondering what happened to you
thought it was a little strange that you just left
my bid buddy did fire off and ran for the entire auction
but the site seemed to load slow
and the pages would take time when I tried to move around
hope they figure it out for you

well I just had the same exact problem
I had a buddy loaded and it did fire but
stopped after a couple of bids
it cost me the auction
I did email bidash about the problem
waiting to hear back

have you heard from them regarding the buddy not working
right?

Thanks for your response and sorry to hear that you had the same thing occurred to you as well. I haven't received their response yet. I guess it's the Labor day weekend so hopefully by next week. I know therealbidtow.. auction went up around $10 few days ago with his bid buddy looked like it stopped costing him tremendous bids. There were quite a few jumpers taking turns bidding against him. The next day at night when I looked at the closed page to see the auction he was on then noticed the site had taken it down. I think they are looking into his auction as well. I will post it here once I do get a response. Since it was only 24 cents auction and cost me only 12 cents of bids so, I'm not too worried but we want to make sure the bid buddy is going to work all the time so that we could leave it on and go outside and do errands or other things in life.
