Thanks for your response and sorry to hear that you had the same thing occurred to you as well. I haven't received their response yet. I guess it's the Labor day weekend so hopefully by next week. I know therealbidtow.. auction went up around $10 few days ago with his bid buddy looked like it stopped costing him tremendous bids. There were quite a few jumpers taking turns bidding against him. The next day at night when I looked at the closed page to see the auction he was on then noticed the site had taken it down. I think they are looking into his auction as well. I will post it here once I do get a response. Since it was only 24 cents auction and cost me only 12 cents of bids so, I'm not too worried but we want to make sure the bid buddy is going to work all the time so that we could leave it on and go outside and do errands or other things in life.
Update: I actually did receive the e mail from the site and it was in my junk folder. I change the status to not junk so that I will get a mail from now on in my regular folder. The site responded that looks like my bid butler was turned on but didn't trigger so they credit my bids back of 11. Also they are having the programmer look into their system so that it will be more more precise in the future.

    Hi boredandcrazy and metamorface,

We are looking into your bid buddy issue. Can you both let me know if after you created the bid butler, did you make any edits to it? We are not seeing any reason on our end at this time which would cause it not to trigger. I noticed on your Home Depot auction the night before it looked like it worked fine. Also the user elocin had the bid butler working on the $50 Southwest card last night as well. Let me know if you made edits. So far you are the only two people that has brought this to our attention so far.

As far as therealbidtowin issue from the other night, we found out that when an auction is sitting in the processing status it does not show on the winners page. We have corrected that issue.

    Metamorface,

I also had a question in my e-mail to you regarding something you were pointing out. I needed a little more detail from you to investigate. Could you respond to info at bidash with your response. Once I hear from you, I will take a look into what you brought up.

Hi I just wanted to thank the site and paw members that the bid butler worked fine tonight when I tested on the 50 dollar auction that I lost to the other user the other night. I noticed as I put in the bid butler it took a while around ten second to refresh the page so I opened two more applications so that while setting the bid butler I could observe to make sure the auction won't end during the setting up process. Thanks again.

    Hi Metamorphace,

Thanks for that refreshing comment. I will see if our programmer can look into that and possible shorten that timing. I am not sure if that is your connection speed or something in the script that requires it to take that long. When we purchased the site we were told that the script needed 5 minuites or so to put won auctions in your My Bidash won auctions section. We now have that down to 15 seconds. So hopefully yhe refresh is also something we can change as well.

Default Sharing information about win limit on bidash

Hi everyone, how is the bidash site is going on? Well, I only won two items this month and when I try to bid just now it didn't trigger. It says I had reached my monthly win limit of 10 this month. Wow, after trying to figure out what is going on then I realized the problem. There is whole bunch of new auction coming up for the next 15 days or so and I had placed a bid on at least 8 items at 1 cent. Now, I tried to bid on the one of the auction and it won't let me place my user name. So, just to share what's going on, if you stamp many new auctions and if you have total of 10 including win limit then you can't bid. I didn't know tonight so now I can't bid. Good luck everyone and also those of you playing on the IPAD

My guess is they have the system set up this way to deter people from tagging items days and days in advance since it generally leads to detering new bidders from participating in those auctions (and is bad for the site). I wouldn't be surprised if he restricts this even more so you can't even tag 8 at one time.

Hi I do see your point. I do bid on something that I really like and I would bid anything that if I feel that this items is what I need at the moment. I check my gift cards at home and think, oh, lately, I'm low on this and that gift card specially the gas card since I drive a lot. It sure does comes in handy. As far as tagging, I just noticed nobody had placed a bid since they are all few days a part so, I threw couple bids here and there. Bottom line, I'm just like others here to bid and try to win. Nice win on the recent electronic item for 4 cents Chris.

Thanks, I was surprised no one bid against me. I know you are like everyone else just wanting to win I was just commenting on this as I know he wants more business and many new people are afraid to bid when they see every item already has a bid on it days/weeks in advance. Lots of people tag items they are interested in but I do think it is in the best interest of site owners to limit the number of auctions a person can tag at one time(I do but a lot less these days because I seem to not visit sites right when the auctions are posted ). Either way sorry you weren't able to bid but it sounds like you will get to do plenty of that in the days to come so I wish you luck with those

Thanks, one strategy that I learned now is just bidding on few sites buying bids trying to win has worked well. Before I used to bid on 10 sites and only win few but I let go of my ego and greed it's working now. Also smaller sites less traffic. I'm happy just winning on few sites as long as win 80% it's all gravy.

I'm having the same problem with firefox. I have to refresh many times to get the site up on bidash. I know it's not the internet since other site I can go on right away.

Hello I'm having the same problem. When navigating around the site, every page I click gives me the "Internet Explorer cannot display..." message. However, after the 2nd or 3rd refresh, the page will eventually load.

Yup, I think the site is just overloaded or heavy slowing down.

Just wondering if anyone is still having issues or if they found a fix. I went to try and set an autobidder tonight and it took me to a blank screen. By the time I refreshed the auction was over. Just wondering if it has to do with the newly updated firefox or if it is something else.

It has been painful. If I refresh the screen it comes up on the second time round. Not sure what is going on. I am using Safari and tried Chrome and Firefox with little success. Anytime I refresh the browser screen, it does come up.

    Hi Everyone,

Real quick to respond to dragonball. The monthly limit is 10. Coolguy is correct about the tagging. If you are the high bidder on 10 items and try to tag another item the system is set up not to allow you to do so. The reason behind this is not to deter people from tagging, but more along the lines to save people from wasting bids. Some users of course will also demand that the bids they used to tag be returned to them since they were not able to bid any longer on that item if they reached their limit before doing so.

As for the remainder of the emails, yes we are having issues and are working with go daddy to try and resolve them. If we do not get the issue resolved by the time the auctions begin, all auctions today will be considered invalid and all bids will be returned to the users. We do apologize for this inconvenience but are working to get the site up and running as quickly as we can.

If you do have questions, problems or concerns, I would ask that you direct them to bidash direct as well so we are informed of the matter.

Thanks coolguy for letting me know others were having the same issues.

    Thanks bid-to-2-too-win.

    Hi everyone,

Good news. Go Daddy did a quick reboot and the site appears to be functioning properly again. If you have any of the same issues as before please let us know immediately. Also due to this issue it appeared that some payments went through our gateway but never were relayed back to our site yesterday. I have already gone through and manually did the updates. If you feel something is still not correct, please let us know and we will look into it for you.

    Thanks again for your patience.

Default Q About buy it now option on bidash

Questions about buy it now option. For instance, I noticed there were buy it now option on the auction that I was bidding earlier tonight. I didn't want the $50 gift card to run past $10 spending 500 bids or buying more big bid packs to prove myself. Let say if I decided to pull out around $3.00 or $4.00 and lose the auction is that enough bids spent to qualify buy it now because150 to 200 bids were used?

The way I understand it is you get $.50 per bid spent and so on that auction you were on if you spent 100 bids it would cover the entire cost, leaving you only having to pay for shipping. If you spent more than the 100 bids (pulling out around $4.00) you would have spent more than enough to cover the cost of the item (but would still have to pay shipping).

That is why I started bidding where I did since I knew you were at the 100 bid mark. Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough on the trigger and the auction ended.

    Have a good night metamorface.

Hi Thank you Coolguy451 for letting me know. I do like the buy it now option. I think the Wavee had that too while back when I used to play there before it was run by all the power bidders on that site. I wonder if it's still crazy there or not. You have a good night too.

Well, I was in a fight with someone and then all of a sudden the site would not let me place a bid. I must have hit the bid button over and over a 100 times as the clock wound down and started hitting the button at 19 seconds, the time on the clock when it resets. Has anyone ever known me to quit! I sent a submission through the contact us form. I am kind of upset. I will let you know what happens.

Hi Jetranger I'm sorry to hear that you had a problem with your auction! I was surprised to see you stop and wondered if something had gone awry.

I'm sure Alan will get back to you asap and resolve the issue. He has always been excellent with his reponse time and getting to the bottom of any problems.

Hope things go better for you on your next auction

Thanks again Coolguy for the explanation. Could not have said it better myself. Thank you all for the compliments on the customer service. We are striving to be one of the best in that regards.

I did not know that was you as therealbidtowin. I did notice a couple of usernames within that variation but don't ever remember seeing any of the place any bids since we took over.

jetranger again I do apologize for that I am not sure what happened.

Just incase if the site is down for anyone I asked go daddy to run a power cycle which shouldn't take more than 30 minutes at the most.

If you haven't done, so we would really appreciate some feedback on our review page here.

    Default Disturbing User Name

    Disturbing User Name

I noticed there is a User Name that seems offensive on a Bidash that's bidding tonight. When I used to bid on cactus site there were some users used slangs, bad language or using names to mock others. Hopefully, the sight will see my post so that they could change their user name. I'm not trying to be a teller teller but if I bid against someone with the user name I see tonight, I think I would be pretty steamed up and be bidding like a energizer bunny.

It appears there has been an ongoing grudge that was brought to our doorstep a few days ago. Unfotunately based on some feedback I have read and received from PAW members, this has been going on for a while on other sites. I am not looking to drag anybody through the mud in this but we have suspended this users account and will be refunding all unused bids. We will not tolerate this kind of bahavior on our site. You are not just hurting the person you are targeting but also other users who are trying to enjoy the site for what it is and to what we are trying to establish.

Thanks. I actually thew in some bids earlier but those 3 were pretty determined against each other and almost never let the clock go below 2 seconds. It is nice to get lucky sometimes

Say what??? I saw the clock go to 2 seconds on my end a lot. Yeah, I did see you throw a couple of bids in that auction. Call it luck, strategy or whatever. No sore loser though, I'm just saying...

It was a BIN auction, and I bid when I saw it hit "GOING" and it rarely did that. I figured there was someone else waiting in the wings too, so with respect to that I was lucky that the three of you hit BIN and no one else came in. Good luck to you.

Default Has the Win Limit changed to 6 per month?

Has the win limit changed to 6 per month? I noticed I had my bid butler turned on and it didn't triggered and other bidder one. I tried to place a bid at 6 minutes prior to end of the auction but it was stating I reached my monthly limit? I think my wife has reached as well, but her auction went up to $2.64 after few jumpers jumped in and she lost due to not putting any higher bids on bid buddy.
