    Hi all,
thanks again for the participation earlier.
We're going to do some testing tonight again.

I have rewritten the DivaValet to behave more like we had discussed.

    Have fun, I will

All I won were some weird looks from my fiance when I tried to explain that I was bidding on imaginary items.

I ran out of bids by throttle testing the site - glad it wasn't for real!

Cannot WAIT for you guys to come back. I love your things so much.

All you had to say was 'but I'm getting free bids for doing this!' that should shut him right up!

I think I'm gonna break down and use the old visa for something I want tonight on PP, since the bids go straight in I've got enough to get started, wanna hang back and see how nuts it gets, want to hold off on all things visa related until I have to. I am afraid it will be out of my league until it gets to like $40 and then I'll feel guilty about jumping in on some poor soul whose had a future bidder going since like $3 so I won't. And then it will end at like $40.05. And then I'll be mad at myself. But then I'll remind myself that even if I had placed my first bid at $40 the person who had been in since $3 is probably a lunatic who would keep right on bidding until $400.

Anyone else have these thought processes while bidding on this crap? :8:

Well....it says I won but its not showing up under my won auctions so I can't pay for it and it still says I have zero won auctions at the top of the page. I'm guessing this one is going to be voided too?

Give it a couple minutes maybe...could just be a site glitch.

On other sites it sometimes takes a couple of minutes to register if I win

It looks like you won. I didn't see anything wonky.
But I dunno why it's not in your won items.

Hey Ella! You need to try this site, they have really cute stuff. Unless this auction is voided then I'm done. LOL

Hi Girls! I hope you had a great turkey day!

Hey, I tried that Walmart link, Amanda, and all the laptops I wanted sold in like a few minutes. I'll have to give it another go on pennylaptop... that is if btw stays away, LOL.

What do you girls think about all these blackfriday deals on bidblink, famda, bidray, etc... deals on bids and stuff, I wonder if it's worth spending a couple of hundred.. seems like the competition might even be worse right now, right? It's my first blackfriday in the pennyauction world!

Also, DD, do you think you can have a baby "divo"? I will never call my son that in front of my husband but I think I will have more motivation to bid if it's for the kids... I'm trying out the baby diva soon, can't wait! :biggriny:

LOL, awwww.. they're putting the purse and the packing material in the box this very moment ready to ship... The only thing that was voided were my wins from their testing, man! I was clicking away and bidding on those like my life depended on it! :biggriny:

Awww Travis. LOL Don't take it personally, I just automatically assume every auction I win really cheaply on ANY site is a mistake and the auction will be voided. Its me, not you. You know I love you guys!

By the way, I was throttling like a maniac because, well we have a house full of people over watching a game and I wanted to hurry and get it over with as quickly as possible and I knew I was willing to go all the way to get that so I was fine with clicking bid continuously until it ended. Any way, I didn't experience any lag or timer standstill or any of the previous problems we've had. AND I'm on the old dinosaur PC. Now if I could just pay for it. But hey, I'd rather have the problem AFTER the win than while I'm trying to get it.

Wouldn't normally stop that fast on this one, but considering I several members of my family including my wonderful fiance are giving me dream purses for Christmas (all of which I've seen now to make sure I like them ) and I just got a brand new gorgeous MK coat today, I didn't care too terribly much and ended up getting distracted playing a game Wish I'd stayed in a bit longer to get DD a bit more revenue but I got a little too wrapped up and didn't click in time to keep it going.

DD - the bangle coming up, does that come packaged in a coach box? Just wondering, please let me know.

Also, I asked previously, any chances of having anything designer for a baby boy? I notice you only have diva your daughter... Thanks!

I'm glad you're not disappointed, ducky. I always hate bidding against my fellow PAWers but if I want something I want it...and the sites NEED us to bid against each other. I only used like 20 bids on that but I don't mind using a lot of bids to get something I really want, especially on a startup site, even if I have to use a lot of bids to get something the cost of those bids is still a BIG discount vs the value of the item. Its what makes these auctions so great!

I wish there was more traffic on DD, there are so many rip offs out there and people flock to those...I don't understand. I will say with 100% certainty that DD is a legit site and you can win things with just a handful of bids right now. They have great customer service, fast and free shipping, fair win limits, and top notch items, and so far so good on the software update...people need to give them a shot.

Ella- I don't know if they re all the same so I'll let them answer for themselves but my bangle came in a cute little dust bag and a coach box. It was a nice touch I was not expecting.

    Hi Ella:
Sorry it took a bit to respond. As E mentioned, Trav is out and I am knee deep in sick crying kids....

Yes, the bangle comes in a dust bag and box. And, we are on the look out for diva your dude items for baby boys. Anything in particular you want? I'm working on setting up a relationship with one of the online baby boutiques, but nothing final yet...And, we just might have a fabulous red kate spade diaper bag coming up...

I wasn't even trying to win that ... just wanted to try to draw some more people in. Go ahead and send that to ducky if she wants it. I feel mean.. I placed the last two bids actually to try and see how the diva valet worked and when it kicked in, I couldn't figure it out.

lol I'm not that nice or I wouldn't have outbid her, I guess. I mean, I liked the bracelet, I wouldn't ever bid on something that I didn't like. I have no idea why she stopped bidding so soon, I was just happy to see her diva valet fire off so I could see in a real auction how it operated, at what point it kicked in, etc. Was just testing for my future bidding battles..I wasn't going to bid again after that last bid I placed that ultimately ended it.

It shouldn't do that anymore. I'll have to talk to trav when he gets back.

Just talked to trav - he says, it says "all saved happily ever after" and then takes you automatically back to the auction. It should only take a few seconds.

I only set it with a couple bids to see how it did when there were 2 auto bidders going against each other but by the time I got back to the auction item screen and it finished refreshing it had already used my auto bids lol. BUt I see someone else and proto auto bidding it out so I see how it works.

I think I'm done. After using that many bids in a loss I don't feel guilty about the bangle anymore LOL.
