Hi All,

I work at www.bidfire.com and can share with everyone the different ways to earn free bids on our site.

BidFire has been developed from the ground up by our own development team and we do not use any prepackaged swoopo clone software or anything of the sort. We have a fresh new design and will be coming out with some great new features in the very near future.

As for the free bids; right now these are the current ways to earn free bids:

There are several ways to earn free bids on BidFire:

1) Follow us on Twitter http://twitter.com/bidfire and send your Twitter username and BidFire username to twitter@bidfire.com to get 3 Free Bids
2) Send a video of you with your win to winner@bidfire.com. We'll post it in the Winner's Circle and add the 25 Free bids to your account
3) Send a photo of you with your win to winner@bidfire.com. We'll post it in the Winner's Circle and add the 10 Free bids to your account
4) Win our guess the end price game on Twitter and receive 25 Free bids

Thank you all for your interest and we hope to see you on BidFire soon!

I came across bidfire early on and had never seen a penny auction site before that. Looked like a neat concept so tried it out. Instantly loved it and won a couple auctions that got shipped to me within a week.

Then went out and tried Swoopo and Bidstick since they had more product than bidfire but found it impossibe to win. Ended up going back to bidfire and am happy to see they are starting to put more products up.

Bidfire was my first penny auction site too, and it's defintiely been worth my while, I've won nearly all my stuff at way below cost. Checked out some other auctions sites as well but also found that the user interface/experience is nowhere as nice, and it was much much harder to win for a decent price.

Definitely a legit site, all my items have shipped and arrived within a few days.

Default BidFire.com uses bots to bid CONSTANTLY-it's a SCAM!

BidFire.com doesn’t even try to conceal the fact that their sofware is coded to place fake robo-bids CONSTANTLY!
Just ask yourself; why would the majority of bidders (and “winners”) on that site choose to register with stupid, nonsensical names like “madrad5”, “aaburo2”, “gialdridge33”,”ladyb5612”, “sarae36”,”juhl922”, “lubby17”, “bondib2000”, “dtoral20”, and “cas6039”??
Those are all OBVIOUSLY random-generated user ID’s that no human being would choose to use. Seriously, do you think that all the good names were snatched up by people who coincidentally never place bids, so these garbage ID’s were all that was left to choose from? Hardly. BidFire.com is a criminal enterprise masquerading as a legitimate auction site.

Notice... all the praise posts (post in their FAVOR) are all by newly registered names, none of which have more than 2 posts. That's good enough evidence in itself... ridiculous.

Default Im Furious!!

Yes, this is my first post. I don't usually post on most forums even as a member, however, I just had to in my circumstance.

I registered on Bidfire and bought a 100 bidpack for a hundred bucks. I was lured by design and ease of use of the site. The items up for auction were all big ticket items 1) Laptops 2) Kindles 3) Cameras. I was in the market for a macbook pro 13". I prepared well for the auction. I bought another bid pack of 100 for another 100 dollars and set on my journey to win an item.

Long story short. I didn't even have a chance at winning as all these random screen names with lots of numbers kept bidding against me just when i thought i was going to win.

Not learning my lesson I bought another 200 dollars worth of bids just to lose again.

Call me a fool for trying one last time for another 200 dollars worth of bids, just to be unsuccessful again.

Im out $600 hard earned dollars. About One Full work week on a scam, a hoax. I didn't even get a friggin' thank you. I'm posting this for future bidders to see and be weary of this site.

Thanks ... J

Hi Midwaykid!

Welcome to PAW, we're glad you joined. I'm sorry to hear that you lost the auction you were bidding on, however the fact that you lost the auction alone is not enough to say that bidfire.com is a scam.

We appreciate your feedback!

Wow, that's awful. I'm so sorry you found out the hard way. Not enticing you to play again but if you're willing to invest that much then go to a well known PA site that offers a buy it now option. Good luck.

Default Thank You for your info for Midway

I had been to many sites myself losing a lot. After I watched and learned how the others Users and re-read how the PA sites works then I started to win on some PA sites. I'm sorry to hear you Midwaykid that you had lost a lot too. I lost close to $1000 on Bidsticks.com and Lastbidders.net so those two sites I'm not going to try unless I see the PAW Users winning left and right all the time.

Hey guys, I am new here but I have tried several sites too. Swoopo (impossible to win at) StickrPrice (still waiting) but I was lucky enough to win several items on BidFire (but it can be hard). They even follow and enforce the rules!! One of the rules is you can only win 3 auctions in a seven day period. Long story short I came in second for a 27" TV (pissed me off), however the next day I was contacted by BidFire and apparently it was the 4th win for the top bidder, so they offered me the TV for the price of my final bid $12.25. - I got REALLY lucky.

It can be very tough to win but it is possible.

Items I won include:
$75 dollars for Amazon
Samsung TL225 Camera
2 x True Blood season 1 box sets
27" Panasonic TV (mentioned above)
few other things.

And spent around 300-400 dollars in bids. Not including the final cost of the items.

You can check the history I am "LouDogLB"

Currently I am broke with no bids though, winning is getting harder. I think anyway.

OK, this is my first time posting here, so bear with me. My intent is to share some information about my experience with BidFire.com and hopefully to help some people who have had some of the same problems/suspicions as me. With that said, here goes.

I could not agree more. I have spent over $150 on this website in the past few days and after reading this, I went back and started looking at recent auction winners for other suspicious names - the ones with numbers in them that sound like a computer would have picked them.

Here's a few alleged winners that I found over the past couple days:

Alright, so some of these could *possibly* be legit, but some of the names are truly suspect. So I asked myself - "What's a simple way that I could test my theory?" - then I came up with the idea of trying to register the same usernames as above *without* the numbers. Oddly enough, many of them come back as "available".

Case in point -- username "mreid1082" sounds pretty obscure, right? I would assume if someone was named "Mark Reid", they would want to register the most basic username "mreid", wouldn't you? Well, according to the screenshot below, "mreid" is available.

It gets worse. Take the username "tdple13" -- obviously, this is "Tadpole 13" with two vowels missing. I dunno about you, but for me, the site would have to be OVERRUN with people using the "tadpole" in their name in order for me to accept this as a username. Guess what? The username "tadpole" is available.

Now, in my opinion, this is truly bizarre. I realize that some people just have weird usernames that they know and love, but... c'mon... This many? Try it for yourself - go to BidFire.com and try to register as "darkspawn182", then plug in plain old "darkspawn"... yup. At the time of this posting it's available. If you're like me, you're probably thinking that "darkspawn182" would've first tried to register just "darkspawn", without those goofy numbers at the end before intentionally adding them to an otherwise pretty cool username... Very suspect.

Also, I had a problem buying credits at one point during an auction - evidently if you pay with paypal and do not click "return me to bidfire.com" - YOU DON'T GET YOUR BID CREDITS. I emailed them about this and received a response A DAY LATER, which I feel is unacceptable. They said said that they couldn't find my email address in their system.

I gave them the correct information, told them that the auction I was trying to win was over and I just wanted a refund, SINCE I NEVER RECEIVED MY BID CREDITS but I haven't heard back from them yet. That was only a day ago, but seriously, I expect better customer service than this when a site is as fast paced as almost every Penny Auction site I've seen tends to be. Response time is key - if there's a problem, and you need bids, you need them RIGHT THEN, not the next day.

In closing, I am extremely disappointed with BidFire.com. Quite frankly, I find there to be some very suspicious and possibly fraudulent activity and I am planning on disputing ALL charges from them with my bank.

Beware.

..k..

I was bored so went around trying to buy stuff for cheaper price, then i came across bidfire.com. I bid and won a few bids on there until i realize how smart it is for them to do their sells this way.
they did not make their money through selling their items, but they did it through selling their bids.
unlike other sites, this bidfire.com is similar to a gambling site, because you are playing "chicken" and see who will back down first.
example: a macbook about $1,200.00 currently bidding for over $300.00, if you do your calculation right that is 300/.05= 6000 bids at $1 a bid thats $6k worth. its a good deal for the sites. so even $100 item sold for $5 they would break even with $5 profit.
so if you really want to play with this site, you need to follow your bids all the way through, or cut your lost early, because everyone throw their bids in and only one came out.

I was told about this site by my brother. We both put in $50 for bids and both walked away with items worth more. I got an Ipod Nano for a $1.50 plus my initial bid costs...Total $51.50 for a $180 Nano. You can't beat that!

Default BidFire is VALID

I read all the negative comments but still decided to try this website out. I decided to bid on a Kindle DX. I actually WON this item for $41 after 100 bids (look in the closed history on their site, my username is watsonm), so I actually paid $141 for this Kindle DX, which retails at Amazon.com for $489. This is a VALID site, I’ve seen many people win, and I was able to get a smokin’ deal on a DX which I badly wanted. Yeah, it’s a gamble, so to speak, but aren’t all auctions? I love it, and for the sake of MY future bidding, I hope the rest of YOU stay away, so I have a better chance of winning more amazing stuff in the future. I love the site. I just wish I was the one who thought of it ’cause they’re raking in some amazing dough, and us consumers are getting awesome deals because of it.

Smile Bidfire

I don't know what to say, I see alot of people complaining about bidfire. I thought it was simple. I signed up, got a couple of free bids, then spent about a week watching and learning. I used my free bids to test the water, then bought some and waited for a good auction. I ran out, then bought more and stuck with it, then started winning. I won twice in one week ($100 gift card, and an Ipod Touch), then lost the rest of my bids in a bid war. Now I'm waiting for the right time to jump back in. It's a business, and not everyone will win or even be happy. You can't think of it as a prize giveaway, and you have to be prepared to lose.
My opinion: I like bidfire and have won in the past and plan to win again.

This is how each and every penny auction site acts and bidfire is not the only one. This is the base model and if you do not like this then penny auction is not for you.

As far legitimacy of bidfire goes I played and won a $200 item and they shipped it within a week from amazon.Having number infront of a name is not the immediate conclusion that its a bot.We have very famous bidder redcobra1999,blesnjoe4576 (may be the number part i am wrong here) and who are part of PAW as well. Please do proper investigation before blaming a site. While I agree that there are sites who does shilling and their number is more than the legitimate sites but that does not mean we can put finger at a site without any basis.

I'm sorry to hear that so many of you have had horrible experiences. I have used bidfire and have been an avid user for quite some time. I honestly know it's a gamble, and I have lost auctions because of lack of patience on my part. But I have won so many great auctions.
You can look at my past wins under cheesedork, you can probably find my username under other auctions where I bid, but didn't win because I just finally gave in (and of course when I stop bidding the auction ends) haha, it's a gambling site for sure, but I'm a happer user of bidfire.
I tried other sites as this and bidfire is the only one I have won at and they honestly don't take as long as some other sites did to ship.
If you don't trust it, then don't bid, but that will only benefit me because the less users there are the bigger chance I have to win

Default BidFire is not a scam

I would like to say that I started bidding on Bidfire in January. My username is HaramiBidder. It was a Saturday and I was new to the site. I lost all of my bids but the next day, I tried again without giving up. At first, I was a little skeptical about the site but when I changed my strategy the next day and won $500 amazon gift card, I was so happy! The reason why you are all losing is because you are recklessly bidding. You need a technique in order to win. I saw that there were the same winners each time and I actually took the time and checked how they were bidding. Slowly, I learned and started winning more items. I admire those people because they are experts when it comes to bidding. The only time I am able to win is when they aren’t there. Before, it was very easy for me to win because there were less people and now there are many which means you have to be really patient and bid in a smart matter to win. I always see bidders bidding when not needed to and that is really why they don’t win so if you are one of those people, then you need to change your strategy. I did not give up and started complaining on various sites that Bidfire is a fraud because they are real. You can check out Facebook and Twitter to see the winners. So if you like complaining instead of achieving, stay away from Bidfire and stop spreading false rumors so it can be easy for me to continue winning. As for the seconds on the clock, you can see other auctions having the same issue. Sometimes people hold the bid button so the time changes. My goal is to win the Ipod Touch and MacBook Pro but there are numerous amounts of people bidding making it quite difficult. Bidfire is legit and have excellent customer service.

Default Bidfire auctions

I have been using bidfire for a while now and I have to says this is a legitimate site. I have won an IPod touch for $8.30, an 8GB memory card, a $50 Target gift card and an all in one printer. I will use this site in the future for buying Christmas gifts for my family members. I have received all items in a timely manner and in its original packaging. Love the site and will continue to use for a long time.

I skeptical about the site as many are but I figured why not try it, I won on it and received my winnings today. For the people who say that they see the same bidders on it spending more than its worth, think of all the people that sit in casinos dumping money into gambling, once they get started and have the investment into they want to win their money back and not give up, exactly what's happening on Bidfire. The people not only have the comfort of being home but can just keep going back to their credit card to reload. The site is real just be sensible when bidding, and when you do win you will see.

Thumbs up BidFire is FAIR!

This site is a great site and legit! I've won over $600 worth of items from this site and I did it because this site is the ONLY bidding site that is FAIR!!!! They only have a few auctions going at one time and they don't use those annoying autobidders, autobutlers, or autosnaggers!!! you have to be
present bidding and sit there for as long as it takes or you won't win!! They also restrict winning to only 3 items in a 7 day period so no one bidder monopolizes the bidding - Use this site! Do your research - watch the bidders and the time of day and you will win!!! And win big if you play
your bids right. I can't stress enough the fairness of this site. So if you want to bid and want to win use BIDFIRE.COM!!!

Default Works Great

I watched this site for a while trying to figure out if it was for real. When I decided that it may be just a chance but worth a few bucks for a try. Timing, watching and a little luck of when to jump in (like any auction) plays a part but on the first auction that I bid on it took 4 bids to win a $500 Kindle DX for $28.15... and the 4 bids of course. Then I still had a question of whether I would actually receive the Kindle but sure enough it arrived in less than two weeks. I’m jci34 and yes, Bidfire works great!

Default SAM-Bidfire is fair

This site is kool and an awesome place to try ur luck out. I did the same thing and i won. All the item i won i received them as described. The site never says that u will always win the item u bid on. It's just the matter of luck and focus. If its ur day u will come out on the top but also be ready that there are others also trying out and they might come out better than you. Overall i believe this site is not a scam. It is legal and fair

Default Bidfire is awesome!!!!!!!

Bidfire is totally awesome!!!! My first time buying bids I won a Kindle DX BEFORE it was even released!!!! I spent $25 on bids, $10.15 for the final bid price for the Kindle, and $9.99 shipping and handling for a grand total of $45.14, but I did not even use all of my bids to win the Kindle!!!!!! I have to admit my husband was skeptical because the Kindle DX was set to be released about a week and a half after I won the auction and retailed for $489. I was SOOOOOOOO excited when I received my brand new Kindle DX directly from Amazon.com 4 days after it was released!!!!!

Default bidfire review

I think it is cool if you get a good deal. To get a good deal, you have to know how to strategize-otherwise you loose money and have negative thoughts of the site and vice versa. It's all about strategy.

Bidfire is awesome! First of all, i only bought about 100.00 worth of bids and i won so much stuff such as the macbook pro, ipod touch, ipod nano, headphones, and i keep winning more. Plus you don’t pay more than what it actually costs. The thing is that you have to know when to play. If you play a couple of times then you will get the hang of it. Bidfire is not a scam, it’s the best thing that ever happened!!
