In an effort to keep the Penny Auction Watch forum clean, usable, and helpful to all members, a set of rules has been put together that all forum members are asked to comply with.


Who may post:

You must be a registered user of the PennyAuctionWatch forum (and logged on) in order to post topics and/or replies.

Guests are only allowed to view posts. If you would like to participate in discussions, and we encourage you to do so, please register.

· PennyAuctionWatch is a forum to discuss penny auctions and other forms of entertainment shopping, because some users have the same username on PAW as they do on penny auction sites, we request that you do not express interest in any one item offered on an auction site, or in any consumer items in general. We all deserve a fair bidding environment!


The first post of all new members will be moderated (manually approved), so please do not waste your time trying to spam!

· Also, please be respectful towards users (bidders), regardless of whether or not they are members of the PennyAuctionWatch forum.

"Respect" is not to imply agreeing to not bid against a PAW member "out of respect" for a fellow friendly PAW member. By all means, bid against whoever you want, whenever you want. No need to apologize to others when you bid against them.

Bid Talk
·Do not mention how many bids you have, the number of bids you spend or will spend, links to previous, current or future auctions, in an attempt to intimidate and/or "stamp" & "claim" items on penny auction sites. Please refrain from vengeful language & referring to any bidder as a "jumper" either directly or subtly.

Be wary when posting about items wanted and looking for as this could suggest "claiming."

Please respect these rules and help us keep penny auction bidding fair for everyone.

· Private messaging is disabled to deter collusion, yes collusion does happen. For this reason, addresses, e-mail addresses and phone numbers are not allowed to be exchanged on the forum and they may be deleted.

·PennyAuctionWatch reserves the right to move threads from the Red Flags Section if we deem this necessary.

· Our purpose is to learn, share and help others

· Allow your fellow members to voice their opinions

· Always display a positive and friendly attitude

· Do not deliberately start arguments. Debates are great, as long as they remain respectful!

· Always try to "give" back to our community. For each time you find help or answers here at PennyAuctionWatch, try to help someone else out in return.

· Give people some time to respond to your requests. There's a lot going on in these forums and it may take a little time for people to notice and respond to your request. Please be patient.

· Do not just make a negative statement and leave the person hanging out to dry! Although you may consider yourself to be an "expert" now, try to remember that we were all new and learning once upon a time. Take it easy on your fellow members!

Do not make threats or implied threats towards other members -- even if you think it's fun. We will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. This includes any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, racially motivated, or violates any laws. You will be given a warning or a ban, temporary or permanent, depending on severity if you violate this policy.

· Our decision will be final on these matters.



· Spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email (disabled to deter team bidding/collusion), visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments to spam other members.

· You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.

· Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts.

· We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate PennyAuctionWatch community standards. The PennyAuctionWatch team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

· Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

· Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

· No spamming, flooding the forum with useless content, or continuously posting useless comments. All spam and useless posts will be deleted. All spammers will be permanently banned. Those that continuously make useless posts will be infracted.

· All forum posts may be reformatted without notice. All forum topics may be reworded without notice.

· Signature and Avatar Content: Please keep all content in your signature or avatar PG-

· Signatures and avatars are not to be used to portray any other member of this site is a negative way without exception.

· Signature Sizing: Do not exceed these size limits when creating your signature (600 pixels wide x 110 pixels high)

· Avatar Sizing: Do not exceed these size limits when creating your avatar (137 pixels wide x 87 pixels high)

· Any signature or avatars not meeting the guidelines stated above will be deleted.


· Kill the CAPS: Typing in all caps is considered shouting. Please don't shout at everyone! If you type in all caps, chances are your posts will be ignored by the people that can help you the most. Messages and Topics typed in all caps may be deleted without notice.

· Be Descriptive and Specific: Use a descriptive topic subject and be as specific as possible in your message. Providing more information makes it easier to help you. This will also make searching for similar topics and problems quicker and easier for all members.

· Do Not Post Your Topic Twice: Please do not post your topic in multiple forums. Duplicate topics will be deleted.

· Malicious Code: Any member that causes script errors by entering any type of code in a message post will be banned.

· No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit material. This includes suggestive images, graphics, and comments. Any member doing this will be banned immediately.

· Do not post links to warez, warez sites, torrents or sites with pornographic or objectionable content. Any links to URL's that will cause computer to go crazy I.E. infinite pop-ups etc, will result in a permanent ban! Only link to sites that are for family viewing only.

· Respect the privacy of others. Do not post other's phone numbers, addresses, pictures, etc., without their permission. Site owners, remember your privacy policy before you breach it here.



We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.


Also, while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

Search Before You Post: Please use the SEARCH and FAQ features. Make sure you are not double posting or cross posting. Research your questions first, as many questions have already been answered many times.

All disciplinary actions implemented by the admin/mods of PennyAuctionWatch.com are final. Any member caught posting posts/threads directly challenging, debating, and/or mocking the decisions made by any of the staff of PennyAuctionWatch.com may find their posts/threads deleted and/or find themselves warned or temporarily banned from PennyAuctionWatch.com. This also includes the posting of such information in a profile, avatar, and/or signature. Each forum member may have only one account. All other accounts will be deleted without warning

Objectionable Language may be censored!


Members found violating this rule will be promptly infracted.
