Hi, Calle...I looked at the site and noticed that it says..."So How Does One Cent City Work?" Please tell me that you are in no way, shape or form associated with One Cent City!!

Also is says a PS3 sold for only 30 cents so I'm assuming you still have some cleaning up to do??
I used to be a powerbidder, but now I just make mental bids. That’s how I lost my mind.

Yeah its my programmer who posted one city banner to show me that the ads would work effectively
I have no association with one cent city and its going to be $0.10 per bid when we launch
this way we believe bidding wont burn a hole in your pockets
You can call me Tim :)

Sounds great, Tim! Let us know if you need help testing before going live.

I need all the help I can get
Thanks a lot
My focus is going to be on seat auctions with fixed price so that even though it is unlimited bidding the price doesnt change
I dont know about you guys but penny auctions dont seem realistic
people who buy a ps3 for $0.30 cant be real or are the friends of the admin and so dont really get anything, I saw a winners page on a website
and they had boxes of Nintendos and everything but they didnt open the boxes
cos they were probably empty lol

are you planning on just having seat auctions for your site?

All three
Reveal, seat and penny auctions
but main focus is seat auctions
so more seat auctions like 80% of all the auctions will be seat auctions
at $0.10 people can bid more without getting a hole in their pockets

can't wait for your site to open. I am more familiar with penny auctions but I will give your seat auction a try once your site open :)

Thx, I think seat auctions are the best
cos lets say
a $100 item
and it costs $5 to buy a seat
20 people buy the seats and the auction starts 24hrs later
Since I am using a fixed price lets say at $5
and u have unlimited bids for that particular auction
you keep bidding and and when u win
you pay $5+$5 and $0 for shipping as we offer free shipping
With seat auctions you dont have to worry about the amount of bids you have left
cos its unlimited after you buy a seat

Before I forget no timer either on our seat auctions
Its a plain transparent system
When all the seats have been purchased we make all the money we need
no keeping our customers waiting when 10secs to 60secs is added after every bid

so is it only seat auctions that don't have timer? the other two auctions, reveal and penny will have timers ?

Reveal auctions dont have timer

Penny auctions will have timer
although they will be literally giveaways
There is no auto-bid, so there is no way bots can be used
Penny auctions will just be away to thank our customers
nothing extravagant

That is good to hear. Bidders will know for sure that whoever they are bidding against are actually real bidders not bots.

Whatever information I can see on the site it shows to me as exact replica of bigdeal.com. Are you guys using the same script . Any more information on this will be appreciated.

No it was made from scratch
I just fancy design

Its just a mistake from the programmer who is going to get it removed
but thx for ur input
I will have the programmer change it a little bit
the buttons and some part of the layout
