I believe a lot of bidders will agree with me
Powerbidders hog all the auctions in sites
without win limits and it totally ruins
the "fun" penny auctoon experience
A good idea we are looking to introduce
as seen on some sites
is the auction limit

something like this?
B: for users without any winds
I: for users with 3 or less wins
E: for anyone

Maybe as the site grows we will have
more distinctions

any ideas?
I need all the "brain stormers" and Einsteins
I can get

Today being a nerd is cool

Well Tim, I'm Jodie...good to meet ya! Still working on some things on mine too...my software developers are in the UK though, so contact is rough, but Hopefully they'll get something worked out for me to take a look at soon. Best of Luck!

Hi Tim,

My name is Alan. The first question I would have to ask is how many auctions do you plan on running per day and week? Has your site been operating yet? If so, how many active users do you have estimate, and how many of them appear to be power bidders.

I liked the thought process of the 3 different types of limits you stated below. For beginners, some sites offer a beginner auction that only beginners win. Once they win their first auction they are thrown to the wolves so to speak. I think this is a great feature to have but unfortunately we are not there yet.

But if you are just starting up, I think you should make sure to have the basic daily, weekly and/or monthly limits set in place.
