Thanks! I saw you bidding as well. Nice win on the 25.00 Amazon + Bids!

Yes! As soon as I won the Amazon card I should have been at my limit. However, it was like mine reset. Here is the screenshot of it:

I'm not bidding on anything else, just in case! Don't want my wins taken!

Thanks and you too!:)

That is wierd on your win limits resetting. I stopped at what I felt was my limit for the day as I didn't want any wins taken either. Great job tonight! How long have you been doing the penny auctions?

Thank you! You'll get the hang of it. It takes more observation than anything- just knowing when and where to bid. And also who to bid against, and who to stay far, far away from! Lol :)

Yeah, luckily I knew what my limits were as I had checked them earlier in the evening before the "reset" or whatever in the world happened! I wonder if this is one of the sites that has the reset at the same time every month? You know, like some sites do their weekly Sunday-Saturday or whatever. I sure thought it was a rolling 30 days, but maybe not? That would explain it, at least.

I started last June on BidCactus. Had a little luck with the beginner auctions, but not much beyond that. I then ran across PAW and discovered this whole crazy world! Haha. I have been bidding addictively since early October. I had my son September 28th, and had nothing better to do while I was on maternity leave than feed the baby, watch him sleep, and spend my hubby's paycheck on PA's! LOL :)

Well I won a Wii on Bidwat....would like an xbox more though. Oh and I did win $112 that kinda made up for it.

Actually I don't need an xbox I just got the PS3.

I won a PS3 on Complooter and gave it away. Don't need another console to have to buy games for! My little sister has a Wii, and that's exactly who I think they are intended for- little people! Lol. I enjoy playing it with a lot of people, but it's not a 1 person console. At lease not one "big person". My sister is 10.

We're Xboxers all the way. We had two of the old school white ones before. I won my hubby an Elite from Complooter, and now the one from iTicket. He'll probably claim the new one and I'll get the hand me down Elite! Lol :)

BTW- while we're on the subject. I gave my hubby one of the Best Buy cards I won, and he went and got a Turtle Beach headset for like 30 bucks. That thing is awesome to be so cheap! Like surround sound in your brain.

Thanks for the info. I started in September on bidsauce. I won a few auctions and got my first set of wins quickly, then downhill from there . I then tried bidcactus and didn't do so well there and almost gave up when I found PAW and have been SO much better off wootwootwoot It is addicting though, and that's cool that you found this site and had time while on maternity leave. It may not be as easy to bid as baby gets bigger!! I had trouble the past couple nights with teenagers and a 7 yr old while "trying" to bid. Thinking I may need a different device to bid on other than computer in the office.

Yea I talked to my nieces tonight they have a Wii. I was sure I would win the Wii on Bidwat so I asked them about it and whether they still like it and they both were like NO lol. They are 10 and 8 and are more excited about my PS3 and all the kid games I have been winning and buying from amazon. They have had the Wii over a year and say its boring. They like their nintendo ds more.

Yea I am looking for a headset as well for PS3.

Congrats on the win!!!! That's probably the 4 r 5th night in a row that same bidder lost 5 to 6 hundred bids every night.

Really thats interesting. I think it was bewinner right? I never seen him before and found it odd he was willing to shell out so many bids then just fold right went I pretty much broke even on the bid-to-retail price.

Oh well. I have no proof thus I will treat this site as legit til I otherwise suspect.

Did they give you a refund for remaining bids or just suspend you.

Any feedback from bidwat customer service as to when the site will be back and running?

Dear customers:

Firstly, we appreciate your support. We made a tough decision after a long time discussion last night. Our site will be shut down permanently.

Many penny auction starts with enthusiasm, honesty and patience. However, most of them are ruined by negative reviews, doubts and intentional attacks including security breach, fake reviews and so on. Therefore, some of them become scam sites eventually. Others close down permanently.

Just a suggestion to EVERY bidder.
Please make sure you have a proof to support your review no matter it is positive or negative.
Please do not judge on a site just based on your winnings.
please do not purchase bids if you don't trust the site.
please do not ask the following questions.
1."why does A always bid against me?"
Please understand that A may ask the same question, and we can not provide any explanation.

2."Why do I win nothing after placing hundreds of bids?"
Many bidders may place bids on the same auction. However, only one of them is the winner.

3."Why does A place hunders of bids to bid against me everyday and win nothing"
Even if penny auction is not gambling, however, they share something in common. There are alway more losers than winners in casinos. But why do those losers come back everyday and even invest more? We don't have an answer for that. However, maybe all the losers in Casinos can answer this question easily.

"Refund the money back to me please , I regret to purchase bids from you"
Maybe we can refund you before you place all your bids.If you do not have any bid left in your account, please do not ask for a refund.

We will start to refund money to all customers very soon. The refund amount will be based on the purchased price and the bids left in your account exclude the 10 free bids. If there are some bids left in your account and you need a refund, please contact us by our email :sales@purchaserrevolution.com . The refund will be started on Jan 25, 2011 0:00AM and will be ended on Jan 27, 2011 11:59PM. Any further inquiry for the refund after this deadline may be invalid. We are going to shut down BidWat.com completely on Jan 27, 2011, 11:59PM. Please tell your friends/relatives if they ever purchased bids package from our site.

Once again, thanks for the support from all of our customers.

I'm sure they will. I've received everything and only have 4 bids left, so I'm not too worried about it. Hopefully everyone will get theirs.

Ditto. I've said that several times. I really like the bright colors on black. PennyLaptops is supposed to kinda have that effect, too, I think.

I too think this was a shame. Loved the design. I think they really coined something with the 100% bid-back to launch the site. I pretty much stopped visiting other sites for days... and I mean I dropped more on that site then I did on several others combined simply to take advantage of the bidback. I just never really got the chance to use the bids after the promo ended due to a few PB's lol (MONGSTA). Didn't feel like loosing all my bids. Your a tough cookie.

I think they just got a bad wrap at the beginning and the momentum they had built kinda dissolved. I think if they try again in the future they could be successful.

I would join another venture of theirs if they choose to do so in the future.

Sorry to see you go Bidwat....best of luck.

I sent you an email regarding wins right before you stopped auctions....which ever is easier for you guys works for me since I pretty much broke even.
