Hello PennyAuctionWatch Forum Members,

I'd like to introduce you to BrilliantBids.com - The Ultimate Free Auction Platform , a website featuring FREE OF CHARGE auctions based on the Lowest Unique Bid system.

In the strategy guide below, we use some terms specific to BrilliantBids ( like Free Bid Tokens, or Bid Vault ). Please read our FAQ first, located here, to understand what these terms mean.

I've heard people saying that the Lowest Unique Bid auction system is all about luck and guessing.

We beg to differ and here is why. Brilliant Bids' variation of the lowest unique bid system is the most fair system for the avid thrill seeking auction enthusiast.

With us it’s all about strategy and outsmarting your opponents! Not luck, not bidding and bidding again, unconsciously, without noticing that you are actually bidding against a robot ( some unscrupulous online auctions use robots to keep the auctions going and to raise the price).

Whilst for some people it may be easier to simply click the "Bid" button over and over again, just to see some other nickname overbidding every time, and hoping that the nickname runs out of bids before they do, the smart bidders know that it is about strategy and planning.

Helpful Strategy Tips!

In the following section, we will describe the strategy that we would follow as a new user of BrilliantBids.com. Don’t worry if you are a newbie, just because it’s a strategy doesn’t mean it has to be difficult.

First of all, we would suggest that you avoid aiming for the big prizes to begin with. You only get a limited number of Free Bid Tokens per day, right? And since these prizes are pretty expensive, their Bid Vaults are probably going to be pretty high to begin with, not to mention that the Free Token Fee for placing bids on them will increase during the course of the auction, and you may not be able to defend your positions in the final round, if you do not have Bid Tokens in your account! What you might want to do here is to place a few bids on the big items, for later use. Just keep on reading, and you'll see what we mean in no time!

You might want to try to win the cheaper auctions in the beginning. The staff at Brilliant Bids will post from time to time auctions with a very low Bid Vault, and they will announce them in advance. Also, for some auctions, the bidding fee remains constant until the end. THE BIDDING FEE ALWAYS REMAINS CONSTANT FOR THE BRILLIANTBID PACKS OF FREE BID TOKENS and these are really the auctions you should go for as a new user on Brilliant Bids! There are only advantages to this approach:

* You will have the chance to sharpen your skills at this type of auction.
* The auction will most probably finish pretty quickly, because the Bid Vault is small.
* Its fun to win auctions quickly!
* You’ll have the "ammunition" to tackle the bigger auctions!

How does that work, you might ask? Well, give me a few moments; you'll understand it very soon!

Brilliant Bids gives you 2 Free Bid Tokens every day, just for logging on, right? But only if you don't have bids in your account. So how can you take advantage of this offer as well, and still keep the Bid Packs that you’ve won for those times when you really need them? Hmm... who says that you need to CLAIM THE PRIZE IMMEDIATELY? BrilliantBids allows you 90 days to claim the prize! So all you have to do is to let them be, then take the 2 Free Bid Tokens every day ( plus any other bids that you might gain from the other offers ), and spend them daily, so that the next day you'll get more! Then, when the time comes when you really need those BidPacks, you just claim them, they will be instantly credited to your account, and you may start using them exactly when you need them most ( for example... during the final stage of an auction ).

Hey, you could even start bidding on another Bid Pack auction with your daily 2 Free Bid Tokens, then at the end of the auction you claim your previously won BidPack, and use the Free Bid Tokens to cover hundreds of positions quickly, and win the newer auction ( hence you're practically expanding your Free Bid Token "wealth", or at least you are extending their life, since you have 90 more days to claim the second auction you've just won ).

When you start bidding on an auction, we advise placing a "blanket" of bids, early in the auction. The reason for this is because the Free Bid Token amount required to bid (we call it the fee) in the early stages of an auction is really cheap and covers lots of positions at a cost of just one Free Bid Token each. Plus, you get the Bid Vault moving so more and more users will get involved, placing bids that will bring the auction to the Final Phase. When we say a blanket, we mean place, for example, many bids at more or less regular intervals. You could try placing one on 0.80 then another one on 0.90, and others on :

1.01
1.13
1.17
1.28
1.25
1.40
1.60
1.71
1.79
1.90
2.03

Then you might also go for...

4.00
4.17
4.34
4.42
4.56
4.65
4.70
4.80
4.91
5.03

and maybe even...

10.00
10.10
10.20
10.30
10.40
10.50
10.60
10.70
10.80
10.90
10.00

Depending on the value of the product on auction, the Free Bid Token Fee for the auction, how many Free Bid Tokens you get daily, etc.

You can place bids every day, as each day you will get more Free Bid Tokens! Some of these bids will be knocked out by your opponents. But it doesn't really matter, because you’ll have plenty of them, you’ll have got them at the lowest amount required to place a bid (the lowest Free Bid Token Fee) and every time somebody knocks out one of your bids, he/she probably spends more Free Bid Tokens than you did to place yours, you still know where you are because the system tells you if your bids are lower/higher than the current winner so you know where the current winning bid is, approximately! All you have to do is to wait until the right time comes, then to claim your huge Bid Pack that you won previously, and let all hell loose on those bids that beat you, during the final hour of an auction! Many times, your opponents will be caught off-guard and found unprepared. Since BrilliantBids.com does not sell Bid Tokens, it is not that easy to keep a big stash of Free Bid Tokens in your bullet belt! And when they're prepared, well, there are always more Free Bid Tokens left in your account to tackle the issue. You already have plenty of positions covered from the early days of the auction, and your opponents would have to spend about 3 to 5 times more Free Bid Tokens for each and every one of your remaining Unique Bids, while you spend the same to place new ones!

If someone can tell me where the luck is, we would be happy to indulge him/her!

So don't forget, OUTSMART YOUR COMPETITORS and Enjoy Brilliant Bids!
