That’s right, now we can add Indonesia and Turkey to our expanding list of penny auctions.

A reader recently told us about Swinde.com, the penny auction that he uses in Indonesia: Atlantic Auction, which offers software in ASP, operates the Turkish penny auction Ucuzacik.com. They tell us that there are 250,000 live users on their auction and items end every evening.

Atlantic Auction tells us that they have a statement that was made by an external independent accounting firm and approved by a notary that all of their auctions are monitored by them, so that the winners are real and they get the products as stated in their TOS page no later than 30 days after end of auction. http://www.ucuzacik.com/onay-belgesi.htmlTheir Czech  version is Supraukce.cz.
Atlantic Auction also sells auction script and they plan to open more auctions up to other countries and languages in the first quarter of 2010, most likely in  Greece, Netherlands and Germany.
