Penny Auction Watch: What got you interested in the entertainment shopping industry?
BidCentsible: The Crew at BidCentsible has used and enjoyed other auction sites for a long time. When the opportunity for them to own and manage their own auction site became available, they jumped at the opportunity.
Penny Auction Watch: How long has BidCentsible been open?
BidCentsible: We have been open for about two weeks. Before the actual opening all the Group worked for many weeks (months) preparing the site. Even with all the preparation we have had a few glitches and for those we regret any inconvenience we may have caused any Member. We will continually strive to make this the most “Customer Friendly” site available.
Penny Auction Watch: What kind of items do you offer/ have lined up? Do your auctions run on a schedule?
BidCentsible: We primarily offer the items our Customers ask for in their request Forum. When it becomes necessary for the Crew to make these decisions, the choices are made by the Group. Price, quality, variety, affordability and desirability are all considerations.
Penny Auction Watch: What are the timer increments between bids and does this vary by auction?
BidCentsible: The timers are set at one second increments and the reset timers will vary in total reset time according to the number of Bidders at any given time. If you are referring to the time between auctions, the time of day and size of the item rules.
Penny Auction Watch: How much are your bids?
BidCentsible: We think our bids are among the best priced in the industry. The actual prices of the bid packs are on the homepage of Bidcentsible.com.
Penny Auction Watch: What are your shipping costs? How long does it usually take for users to receive their items?
BidCentsible: FREE! We feel that our FREE shipping policy enables almost anyone with a computer to participate. These costs are significant and we will absorb them as long as humanly possible.
We feel we can certify a bid and ship within a 10-14 day period.
Penny Auction Watch: What states/countries are you open to?
We ship to all states in the U.S. including Alaska and Hawaii. Customers are urged to make sure that participation in the auction is not restricted in their state or municipality.
Penny Auction Watch: What is your policy for bid refunds?
We refund all bids and restart when an auction has to be stopped for a long period of time, usually about four hours. When short period interruptions are incurred the auction is resumed unchanged. We also will refund bids when the direct actions of Bidcentsible dictate.
Penny Auction Watch: Do you enforce any win limits, limits /household?
BidCentsible: Win limits are three per day. We will let you know if that changes.
Penny Auction Watch: Is there a story behind the BidCentsible name/theme?
Yes, the whole Crew came up with the Bidcentsible.com name because of several factors but primarily the “bid” is the way to join in. The “centsible” because it is truly a way to save a lot of money without having to bet the farm for the products offered. The products are ones that families can readily use and enjoy. The bonus factor: the Site is a load of “adrenaline” filled fun.
