According to an article published today by CTWatchdog.com, Attorney William M. Rubenstein, Connecticut’s new Consumer Protection Commissioner, is concerned about penny auction scams. He also said that many scams can be prevented if consumers were educated.

    Regarding Penny Auction sites…
    It doesn’t take a genius to realize you are GAMBLING not bidding.
    The gamble? That you are the last person who wants to buy a 60 inch Plasma for $22.54
    I mean come on !!!! What odds do you think you have in taking this GAMBLE.

    Guys stay away from these freakin penny auctions, they are making so much money due to your stupidity.

    These should be regarded, TAXED and REGULATED as online casinos. The profits they make are enormous.
