Unfortunately they experienced a technical issue with their payment processor which resulted in their site being down for a few days.   BidFire gave their customers 3 free bids and they currently have an Amazon Kindle DX auction running. Bids on BidFire start at $1 each for a $10 bidpack and decrease in price to $0.86 when purchasing 115 bids.
