We just received the following comment from a user who registered on the penny auction site SwipeBids.com. It also appears that they may have bot bidders.
Here’s the comment from our reader:
“I was scammed by the site called www.swipebids.com for $150 and $24 two days ago when I did a live chat on that site. I [...]

Maximum of 5 wins in a 7 day period for items valued up to $500 MSRP, including bid bundles
There is a separate maximum of 2 wins in a 7 day period for items valued above $500 MSRP

According to penny auction site Joxed.com, they show 18,626 ended auctions since December 30th, 2009.
But were the items on Joxed auctioned off to real people or bots? It is in our opinion that it appears they have autobidders (bots) shill bidding on their auctions.
