Sellmoo.com is a new penny auction site that has been in development for many months, they are planning to open tomorrow. Read our interview with Sellmoo’s owner to learn more about how he got into penny auctions and what Sellmoo will offer.
What got you interested in the entertainment shopping industry?
I came across Swoopo and it really intrigued me, I looked more into the Industry and found it is still largely untapped and growing. I also stumbled across Penny Auction Watch and realized a large amount of the current penny auction sites have been discovered to be scams, so I saw the opportunity to create a legitimate auction site and enter this growing industry.
When will you open?
The first auctions are set to end tomorrow (2/26/10)
What kind of items do you have lined up?
A lot of the same items you see currently on other major sites, such as; Xbox, Playstation, computers, TVs, ipods, Video games, Cell phones, Gift Cards, purses and more. We are always up for suggestions as well.
What are the timer increments between bids/does this vary by auction?
Right now it varies by auction between 5-25s and once the auction falls below 30s it will not go any higher.
How much are your bids?
Bids are $0.50 and right now you get 3 free bids just for registering and right now check your Sellmoo account under “coupon” we have a surprise 🙂
What are your shipping costs?
Shipping cost will vary per item and will be stated in the auction description.
Where are you based?
We are US based and are available in the US and Canada and plan to offer our site to the UK in the near future.
Are they win limits, limits /household?
You are allowed 8 wins per 30 days and allowed 1 user per household.
What is your bid refund policy?
Bids are non-refundable, but of course if there is an error on our part we will refund the bids, our goal is to be a fair and reputable site.
Is there a story behind the name/theme? My original thought was to have a cell phone only penny auction, so I came up with Cellmoo.com, then I thought why stop at cell phones! And Sellmoo.com was born.

This website is for sure fraud there is this new one i came across called bids4lessstore.com they just opened up too with a better item selection and real bidders. You get 4 free bids when you sign up and 4 more if you like their facebook or twitter with my 8 bids i already won a bid package defintly worth checking out.
