To learn more about Bidz-In.com read our interview with the Bidz-In team:

PAW: What got you interested in the entertainment shopping industry?

Bidz-In.com: Having always wanted to create a presence online, we were intrigued by the idea of penny auction sites and the potential which they could achieve.  After doing our research, it did seem that many paying customers were disappointed with this new way of shopping as service wasn’t what they had expected.

So we set about creating Bidz-In.com, aiming to bring a much needed honest, and customer service driven auction site to world.

PAW: How long have you been open?

Bidz-In.com: Not that long actually – we officially opened for trading on 4/1/2010 – yes – it’s been a month already!

To celebrate, we are offering everyone who buys a bid package between 4/2/2010 and 5/2/2010, 25% free bidz!  Please note that this offer is only available on the first bid package that a customer buys within these 2 days.

PAW: What kind of items do you offer/ have lined up?  Do your auctions run on a schedule?

Bidz-In.com: Initially, our auctions lasted up to 3 days, with every auction being paused at midnight, and then resuming at noon the following day.   However, recently, we have decided to let our auctions run throughout the night. (This change also put a stop to those emails asking us if we were still open!) The auctions begin at 5 pm, 7 pm & 9 pm on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday, and they usually comprises of a Beginner’s Auction, a medium priced item, & a high value item respectively.  On a Tuesday and Thursday, we have auctions at 5 pm & 7 pm – these are usually 2 medium priced items.

We try to vary the auctions as much as possible, i.e. not putting the same auction item on within a small time frame, especially the more popular items.  Novelty items are also something that we are fans of, so don’t be surprised if you see something, well, out of place!

Recent items that have been won include a PS3 Slim, Retro Sweet Hamper, £15 worth of Scratch cards, an 8GB iPod Nano, High Speed Portable Drink Chiller – the list goes on, and I think the variation there speaks for itself!

PAW: What are the timer increments between bids/does this vary by auction?

Bidz-In.com: Currently the timer increments are 30 seconds for Beginner’s Auctions and medium priced auctions, and 60 seconds for the High Value items.  We have recently implemented a feature where you can see how many seconds the timer will jump by.

PAW: How much are your bids?

Bidz-In.com: Our bidz cost from just 25p each for the largest bid package, to 50p each for the smallest bid package.  Even with this in mind, I can safely say that we are one of the cheaper, if not the cheapest auction site out there!

PAW: What are your shipping costs? How long does it usually take for users to receive their items?

Bidz-In.com: Shipping costs vary depending on the item – smaller items are obviously cheaper, as opposed to items such as games consoles & coffee machines, which have larger delivery charges. Users usually receive their items within a week of us receiving payment, but we do say allow up to 2 weeks.

PAW: What states/countries are you open to?

Bidz-In.com: We are open to mainland UK, but we are very slowly introducing international auctions, using items which are easy to deliver, such as e-vouchers.

PAW: What is your policy for bid refunds?

Bidz-In.com: Full details of our policy can be found in the Terms & Conditions section of our site. In general, we do not refund on bidz bought/used unless there have been any kind of technical issues.

PAW: Are there win limits, limits /household?

Bidz-In.com: Being a new business, the only limit we have in place is 1 account per household.  Looking to the future, once we have established ourselves, we are planning to place win limits so that everyone has a fair chance to win.

PAW: Is there a story behind the  Bidz-In.com Name?

Bidz-In.com: We originally came up with a motto which went something like “You gotta get your bids in, to be quids in.” As cheesy as that may sound, it was the basis of our name!

It did take a while for us to think of it though.  We didn’t want something very long as we all know how tedious it can be typing in long URLs in your browser – so we decided to go with something small, catchy and easy to pronounce!

PAW: Thank you! Is there anything else you would like Penny Auction Watch readers to know about Bidz-In?

As mentioned before earlier, we are slowly introducing our site to the international market, starting off with a £75 cash prize auction on 4/2/2010 at 9pm GMT.  Our lovely US users have been holding back, so we think it’s about time we did something for them, and all the other non-UK users!

Hopefully, this is just the start 🙂

Bidz-In.com Penny Auction Discussion

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more pop over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you yet know about the question. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is something to that “headache” saying after all.
