Penny Auction Criticized for Selling Designer Brand

Many designer brands rarely offer their items on sale, in fact, some even have policies that disallow retailers from ever selling their products at a discount anywhere.  Today we found an article on Styleit.com that says penny auction OohILove.com shouldn’t be selling Louis Vuittons:

“Louis Vuitton North America’s President and CEO Daniel Lalonde stressed that one of the reasons for the brand’s success through the recession was because Louis Vuitton never goes on sale. But when I asked Lalonde how Louis Vuitton bags ended up on luxury auction website OohILove.com, he said they must be fakes.

It sounds like the bags are real and that OohILove is sneaking through Louis Vuitton’s “No Sales EVER” mandate via a very small loophole — which is to say, by describing the products as so-called “prizes” and not actually as what they are: discounted items. We can’t help but think that Louis Vuitton is going to put the kibosh on this, and fast.”

Have you bid on OohiLove.com and won a Louis Vuitton? Do you think penny auctions should be allowed to sell designer brands? Discuss in our forum!

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more popular over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you along know about the matter. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is some to that “headache” saying after all.

    Danieel,

oohilove does not sell counterfeit goods as that is illegal and also against our company guarantee.

As clearly stated on our website, all items that we sell are guaranteed to be of the designer label brand stated and we have actual receipts from the manufacturer of authorized distributor for each item we put up for auction. Please see http://www.oohilove.com/page/guarantee for full details on our Authenticity Guarantee. We are a US incorporated company and would be legally liable if we did not fulfill our guarantee.

Please contact support@oohilove.com and we will be more than happy to refund you for your purchase if you are unhappy with it.

    Sincerely,

    Paula

Yes, this site is the BIGGEST SCAM I have seen so far. You have the same user names bidding on the same item which is the computer. You never win the bag and the bids keep going up for you to purchase more bids. I did some research and half of the user names don't even have email address. I am reporting them to the BBB…BEWARE DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

Actually when you look online, they have a very high Better Business Bureau rating– not a scam…

I even took my Louis Vuitton bag into an actual boutique to be sure, and they verified that it was real 🙂

I think Oohilove.com is very honest website and trust them I have won a lot of bags non of them is fake. But you have to know how to play penny auctions, if you don't you will lose lot of money.

Obviously Talieah and Harfish Kah both work for Oohilove.com. Only a fool would pay to bid on ANYTHING. Stop being cheap and go purchase a real bag and if you dont have the money to do so, that means DON'T GET DESIGNER GOODS that you cant afford!

BEWARE After I had “won” an item at a very fair price they had me jump through many hoops and I still have not received it. They had me FAX my driver’s license several times (sensitive info covered) and although the item has been paid for by VISA, I can’t get them to tell me how I should pay for shipping costs. They have it listed as waiting for shipping approval. They said they did not have my address which was listed TWICE on the address page and on my driver”s license. I would not go through this hassle which has lasted for days and numerous calls and emails for any bargain. I get a different person on the “support team” each time I email and have never been able to speak to anyone by phone. You can only leave your number. Not worth it. If not resolved soon BBB and VISA fraud dept. and CA Attorney General’s office.

I agree with Camina. I lost more than $600 in bids on Oohilove when they placed a hold on my account and my daughters and did not credit us for purchased bids during the middle of an auction. I can’t tell you how much time and money we have both spent on this site. DO NOT bid at Oohilove or Fancy Stuff. BOTH will take your money, and hastle you if you win. There is a new site, Trendy Penny, that has the best customer service of any of them (kind of hate to tell because it will increase the competition:))

Well I just received my “Marc Jacobs” bag from oohilove.com. A complete fake and a very poor one. Handles wrapped in plastic which is always a tip off, no metal nameplate inside, very uneven stitching, cheap metal, zipper does not have the “riri ” identification which all Marc Jacobs zippers have. Took it to a Nordstrom store at some distance from my home to compare it to a real one. Even sales clerks laughed at it. To top it all off, it came with a Nordstrom address label and Nordstrom invoice with instructions to return the bag to Nordstrom if desired with a prepaid label. Probably counterfeit also. I have reported this to the BBB, Marc Jacobs fraud department, and Nordstrom online fraud division and sent them pictures of the bag and invoice. My name is Sigmon and I am a sucker.Life lession – If it seems to good to be true – it is.

Just found the “Made in Indonesia” tag sewn into my fake Marc Jacobs bag. I feel like an even bigger idiot than before. Nordstrom online fraud division is investigating and so is BBB.

I don’t think that oohilove.com sell fake handbags. Ebay does, I hate Ebay and PayPal they discriminate their customers & I’m filing a lawsuit to sue their asses. Anyone want to join me feel free to send me an email. Oohilove thank you for you service and keep up the good work. From ‘gotlottoburn’
