This Penny Auction Sells Pickle Packs

Picklebid.com

PickleBid.com was recently launched by two brothers with a passion for penny auctions and pickles. Their theme is definitely unique! If we gave out awards for the most uniquely designed/fun penny auction, PickleBid.com would have most definitely just won one :).

Their smallest bid pack, the Baby Pickle Pack costs $15.00 for 25 bids. Check out their Pickle Pledge:

The PickleBid Pickle Pledge:

  1. All auction wins are shipped within 10 business days and fulfilled per our Terms & Conditions
  2. We are dedicated to providing superior customer service to our users
  3. We do not, nor will we ever, engage in shill bidding, use bid bots (robots), to impact the auction results
  4. We pledge to regularly give back to the community by donating a portion of our auction proceeds

PickleBid has a rewards store called The Pickle Jar. Each time a user purchases a bid pack they earnPickle Points,’ which can then be redeemed for gift cards at The Pickle Jar

Points received for each Pickle Pack:

25 Pickles ($15.00) = 2 Points

50 Pickles ($30.00) = 4 Points

75 Pickles ($45.00) = 6 Points

150 Pickles ($90.00) = 12 Points

300 Pickles ($180.00) = 25 Points

With 30 points users can purchase a $25 Gift Card from The Pickle Jar, with 18 a $15 gift card.

We interviewed Rick of PickleBid.com to find out more about this new, pickle themed penny auction site.

Penny Auction Watch: What got you interested in the entertainment shopping industry?

PickleBid: HI! My name is Rick McMullin, my brother (Nathaniel McMullin) and I have been online shoppers for many years.  About four months ago we stumbled upon a penny auction site and we were VERY excited, to say the least!  We joined several auction sites and began to play.  We quickly noticed several aspects of these sites; some were scams that never delivered and many simply had a poor design and did not offer anything to a bidder that lost an auction, OR if they did, it was quite poor.  SO…after several months of research and acquiring investors, we are proud to launch PickleBid.com!

Penny Auction Watch: What kind of items do you have lined up?  Do your auctions run on a schedule?

PickleBid: We are currently auctioning iPods, GPS units, Cameras, various electronics, Gift Cards, and pre-paid Visa/MasterCards.  We will always try and post auctions daily as people have different schedules.

Penny Auction Watch: What are the timer increments between bids/does this vary by auction?

PickleBid: Timer increments vary by auction and its value.  Timers will be 15, 20, or 30 seconds and obviously “penny” auctions will increase by $0.01 while all other auctions increase by $0.10.

Penny Auction Watch: How much are your bids?

PickleBid: PickleBid charges .60 per bid.  You may purchase various Pickle Packs to suit your bidding needs!

We do offer a unique Points system which rewards ALL users (winners or losers) at any time!

After careful research we have discovered that other sites simply offer a certain percentage discount within their reward store.  We feel that you should be able to use your points as you see fit in an honest, logical manner.

Penny Auction Watch: What are your shipping costs?

PickleBid: $3.99 for small items $9.99 for large items.  We also offer electronic delivery of Gift Cards for our customers if they so choose, and there is naturally NO shipping charge!

Penny Auction Watch: Are there any win limits, limits /household?

PickleBid: We will limit the amount of wins to 1 per day/household.  My opinion is that this gives ALL our customers an equal chance to win and be a satisfied customer!  While other sites may feel that every bidder ALREADY has an equal chance by purchasing a bid package, I feel that this prevents ‘bullying’ from players that have a larger budget.  We may lose money, as Power Users may refrain from various auctions, but in the end PickleBid.com will have more happy customers!

Penny Auction Watch: Is there a story behind the name/theme?

PickleBid: My brother had a Web site many years ago called Pickled Pilot (PalmPilot software) and was mentioned in a US News and World Report.  So we thought it would be nice to create a Pickle theme for this site!  It’s also quite entertaining to come up with Pickle names within our site such as Pickle Pack, Pickle Jar, Power Pickle, etc.

In the end we simply want all of our customers to be HAPPY PICKLES!

Is there anything else that you would like to tell Penny Auction Watch readers?

PickleBid: Please log in to our site at www.picklebid.com and get 3 free bids! Let us know how we can improve our site and if you would like us to place a specific item up for your entertainment shopping pleasure!

On a side note, we would like to thank PAW for their Web site, as we gained valuable knowledge on many penny auctions sites, scams and overall opinions!

Thank you,

Rick McMullin and Nathaniel McMullin

Thank you Rick & Nathaniel, we appreciate your thoughtful comments and getting to know you and PickleBid.com a bit more. We look forward to watching your site grow and are glad that you are committed to running an honest penny auction.

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more popular over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you already know about the question. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical reason, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is some to that “headache” saying after all.

Hi. Tried out one of the rookie auctions on Picklebids. Won a 30 itunes gift card at a complete steal. They sent me the electronic giftcard within minutes! My niece was ecstatic.
