Happy 4th of July!

“Everything that is really great and inspiring is created by the individual who can labor in freedom.”-Albert Einstein

“Freedom is nothing but a chance to be better.”   – Albert Camus

“This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.” -Elmer Davis

“We on this continent should never forget that men first crossed the Atlantic not to find soil for their ploughs but to secure liberty for their souls.”   – Robert J. McCracken

“The American Revolution was a beginning, not a consummation.” -Woodrow Wilson

“We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it.”-William Faulkner

We’re thankful for what has been done to keep the USA free and we’re happy that we have the right to free enterprise, but what really gets us down is when some try to exploit this right and hurt others in the process.

Take, for instance, the individuals that create penny auction sites with the intent to rip people off in an effort to “get rich quick.”  The ability to “get rich” is a right that everyone should be able to possess, with hard work and dedication, with honesty and  good intentions, yourself and others will benefit and the fruits of your labor will be seen.

So, think twice when you think you want to start a penny auction site to get rich quick, put time, thought and consideration into it. We don’t want to see you hurting others, and abusing the right of free enterprise that the rest of us value, in the process.

We’re extremely disappointed by the fact that there are some online penny auctions that have taken user’s money and time, by blatantly ripping them off. They have left their customers with false promises, either by failing to ship purchased items or by bidding against them, these are not honest business practices and this should be put to an end.

If you have experienced an online auction, either traditional or penny auction (bid-fee). that has failed to deliver on their promises we’d suggest that you file a complaint with the FTC via the Complaint Assistant, hopefully they will take notice. Also, don’t forget to tell us about your experiences, good or bad, so that you can help others avoid penny auction scams & find good sites.

We appreciate freedom of choice and we hope you do too!

With that said,  Happy Independence Day to everyone!

Celebrate & enjoy it!
