Did RockyBid Decide to Just Open a New Penny Auction?
February 22, 2011
by Amanda Lee
Have you bid on penny auction site zBiddy.com?
It’s been a few months since penny auction site RockyBid.com closed without much of an explanation. Bidders report now that they still had bids left in their account and didn’t know where they went. We contacted the president and founder of RockyBid, Benjamin Grossman, back in December to to inquire about the status of the penny auction site. He told us it would be back soon.
“We have spent the last two months perfecting and testing a new site design and enhanced performance. The new Rockybid will be back at the beginning of the year. You can expect great new auctions and exciting new features. All the current Rockybid bids will be doubled as promised. We look forward to seeing you all then!!!”
Recently we found that penny auction site BidCactus had sued RockyBid for trademark infringement, the complaint alleges that RockyBid was using BidCactus’s trademark in Google advertising.
We’ve seen other sites engage in similar ad campaigns using a competitors TM as well on a regular basis.
There’s now a new penny auction site Zbiddy.com which seems to have been open for a few months now. The registrant happens to be RockyBid’s founder, Benjamin Grossman of NY.
To date, ZBiddy displays 497 ended auctions.
There are a few complaints on ComplaintsBoard and other sites regarding zBiddy charging consumers a fee of $159 that they did not know they would be charged. Many times consumers are too apt to offer credit card information & not read all of the fine print, this is probably what happened.
Have you bid on zBiddy.com? What have your experiences been with this and other
penny auction sites?
That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more popular over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you along know about the question. Sexual disfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is some to that “headache” saying after all.

Over short Period you will lose ur money
JOHN BERNARD November 6, 2011, 1:01 pm
The only deal on this website is for the people that run it. If you don’t have a life and can spend all your waking hours you might get a deal. I spent $60 dollars for bids, and did not win anything. Everytime the clock is about run out and someone bids, the time jumps back and the bidding is never ending. When your bidding a penny at a time, it takes a long time till the bidding gets to the point where you lose bidders.
Marcie Drummond July 21, 2012, 2:01 am
Please read my comment, we that got burned in this fraud need to stick together and make them pay. They are making millions off the poor people that would like to have something nice for their children or even themselves, but it is time to put a STOP to them.
lynette walker August 4, 2012, 2:50 am
I also submitted a comment about ZBIDDY.com and I agree with you as well. They are a ripoff scam, rip the large sum of money from ur hand before you know wut happened. The poor get poorer. They need in plain sight that you get charged for “bids”in exchange, and They dont give the option either of if you want to buy,the right to choose how much $ you want to spend for the “bids”!!!I hate them and just need to figure how to have my creditcard info off account and not in their “hands”
cleotis eppes April 14, 2011, 9:57 am
Bidding on this site is ok, yet you could draw a lot more people if you guys would put up more items to bid on at one time. I’m leaving because of this reason. One item for bid and another five to twenty five minutes later. I see your aim is to get a thousand people bidding on the one item up for bid at any given time. Various items you offer are to the publics likeing yet you guys only post one at a time.
CS April 20, 2011, 11:27 pm
After not being able to choose bids wanted to purchase and the company chooses your bids, found out my credit card # had been fraudently charged for close to $20,000 shortly after getting into the auction site (2 days later actually). Luckily the credit card company was smart enough to know better and alert me. Will never understand how people can scam others for the sake of money. Greed!!!
Evan McNair May 1, 2011, 7:39 pm
I attemped to use the site and gave card information and was automately charged $159.00. Trying to get money back. from what I see it is a scam DO NOT DO IT.
Crabby Toal May 10, 2011, 9:34 am
I looked into this site and found too many red flags indicating scam operation. They even have the gall to say that “registration is free” but if you read as you go, they insist on a credit card and a charge to sign up. I did not fall for this as it is clearly a den of thieves.
Martha May 17, 2011, 8:24 am
I am so glad I did not provide the credit card information they wanted. Their web site is very unclear regarding sign up charges. Once the amount is charged it is next to impossible to receive a refund. I read their “terms and conditions” and yes, all they are are scam artists. The founder is same person from other penny auction site? It’s a shame he is not stopped permanently from this type of wrong doing. Try making money in an ethical and moral manner.
Ray June 10, 2011, 8:14 am
Thanks so much for the comments. I was highly suspicious when they asked for your credit card up front. Let everyone beware. I received the bid ad via email flashing in bright and wonderful colors. Looks are deceiving.
Michelle June 15, 2011, 10:12 pm
I gave my credit card info today and spoke with a “live” operator via chat. I haven’t bid on anything and decided not to now. I sure hope they don’t charge me anything! I hope I can erase my info!
Amir Paz June 23, 2011, 2:20 pm
This Penny Auction site looks like a big problem and I personally wouldn’t use zBiddy. Just looking at how many complaints filed on zBiddy http://www.scambook.com/browse/index/company/274/zBiddy
Rich June 27, 2011, 11:20 pm
Thanks people & sorry for your experience
Sonny Majid July 2, 2011, 3:10 pm
Total scam, please don’t make the same mistake I have made, these people are totally fraud, I hope some authority take good care of the scam artists.
Georgia December 22, 2011, 11:30 pm
Is there a way to cancel your membership once u give credit card info?
bhanick February 8, 2012, 3:32 pm
Yes I have found what others are saying is true. The bids never seem to end and I checked today and the bidding is still going on. The bid price stayed same but people are still bidding and I guess they are making money like crazy on this one. The Card people are bidding on was only worth 100 and the bid stopped at 79.92 a lot for that card. After you would win it, it would cost you for all the bids you made plus shipping and that is a shame. You would end up winning nothing. I just checked and the bidding is still going on. I would sure like to cancel and lick my wounds and lose what I paid just to get out of this mess.
Marcie Drummond July 21, 2012, 2:09 am
yes you can cancel… call you cc company and let them know it is a SCAM. We all need to stick together and put a STOP to it. I started the penney bidding last year and money was still being drawn from my account until called my cc company and bank , as well as the BBB in my county as well as the state. If we all stick together we can keep someone else from going through what we all have experienced. Email me and if you are willing we CAN and WILL put a stop to this SCAM.
underscott July 18, 2011, 7:31 pm
Think about what they are doing…. Each bid is 60 cents. So, for example, a 32G Ipad sells in a penny auction for $200 (for sake of argument, of course). That is 20,000 bids at 60 cents per bid. The buyer gets the illusion of a deal, while zbiddy nets $11,600!!! That’s right, $12,000 minus the $600 for the Ipad (assuming they paid full price) equals $11,600!! As for the winning bidder, you may or may not have gotten a deal when you consider how many bids you spent to “win” the item and the cost of shipping. You might just be better off going to the Apple store. 😀
Need a message board to get people to stop bidding up the prices. Hit ’em where it hurts.
underscott July 18, 2011, 7:33 pm
Sorry, $11,400. Bad math.
Jeanne July 19, 2011, 8:04 am
Thsnk you all for your comments. You have saved me time and money.
JESSICA July 27, 2011, 1:27 pm
Thank God I googled this!!! I thought Zbiddy was too good to be ture, so I just had to look Zbiddy up to see what it was all about. I was so close to start bidding, but then something told me, look it up first before putting some of my information in. Thank you guys!
Amanda July 27, 2011, 4:02 pm
Hi Jessica,
I did hear from one bidder that they’ve won items there though.. They are doing a lot of marketing now it seems. Feel free to join our (free) penny auction forum.
Milton July 1, 2012, 1:19 pm
How do you know the bidder you heard from is not in reality just a shill for the webstie???
cdj August 8, 2011, 1:51 pm
Thanks to all of you who spoke up about the scam. I was ready to put my cc information in when I decided to google and see if this is too good to be true…it was. I wish there was a way for all of us to get our money back from these crooks and put them in jail for stealing (and lying). Best of luck to all of you and I hope others see your posts before they register.
Marcie Drummond July 21, 2012, 1:57 am
There is a way to get everyones money back. I know for a fact if we all get togethet and take this Zbiddy to court they will have to pay because it is a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone that has been sucked in by this person (which is making millions off of the people like me, just trying to get a bettere deal on things that is to dang good to be true, needs to be stopped. if you are willing to stand up and go to court for the fraud that you were sucked into just email me. I cant do it alone, but I can get it in front of a judge. I won several items off these penny auctions and I did it for my children but the merchandise NEVER arrived. We have to stick together and do what is right so noone else falls for this fraud like we did. send me an email and I will do what needs to be done, but once again, I can’t do it alone. I am NOT asking for a penny or anything except your support to STOP this SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cathy October 9, 2012, 1:26 pm
Marcie, I don’t know if we can do too much. I believe if we get enuf people to band together that we can get a class action suit against them. I have so much other BS going on in my life that I can’t spend more $$ on Z Biddy (I just got chumped for $45 in tokens or whatever their bidding chips are called. Everytime I’ve tried to bid on an item there will only be 2 open auctions for their whole website (when I first checked them out their website looked pretty good but after navigating it, it’s not too suavey. When I first log in, there will be around a dozen pretty decent items that people will be bidding on (with 10 seconds or less). I’ll turn my back to do something and when I look again most of the auctions will be closed (sold) and the few that are left never seem to end.). I hate to let them get away with beating me for the bidding chips I bought, but it appears that other people have been hit alot harder in the pocket, like that $159 I keep seeing. My bottom line is that if you do get anything going please count me in (BUT I will NOT be donating any more $$ to Z shiddy biddy website fund. I’m just too through with all these nickel dime mfers. I am going to Salem, MA (witch capital of the world) as I live right outside of Boston and go to one of the shops out there to put the whammy on ZBiddy!! HA HA If I thought it might work I would spend the $$$ on that (as broke as I am). Take care Marcie and let me know if you are going to start some kind of a suit against them. Thanks, Cathy
hh September 16, 2011, 3:10 pm
me too
artgal July 28, 2011, 10:52 am
..and also it looks like these auctions never end! I’ve been watching the time left on an iPod auction keep refreshing back to 12 minutes over the last hour. At this rate it will never end and the bids just keep getting higher. This IS a total rip off and I appreciate all the posts herein. I just wish there was a way to get to unsuspecting folks before they jump into this. People really need to check the scam lists before investing in anything online. There are just too many scumbags out there who prey on folks till they are finally shut down.
Tres August 1, 2011, 9:41 pm
I started with them on May 2. I was not charged automatically, I picked my own bid pack. My best wins have been on this site. They are ranked on Alexa 7th, 1st on Quantcast and 2nd on Compete. Sometimes the auction get frustrating because items go so fast and there isn’t something coming up next, but that happens on all sites.
I have never had to call and ask where my items are, they are here within the week. I have never had to contact them because a clock froze or any other issues with the site. I have never had charges from them on my bank account I couldn’t account for.
There is that suspension because of what I have read about Rockybid…I haven’t been around to know how all that went, if people recouped their money or how the outcome was, I wasn’t there.
I’m not trying to get anyone to bid on there, that is their money, their business. I just haven’t had the same experience as the others who have left a comment have.
Bob August 9, 2011, 3:05 pm
I hate to say this but those of you who have been ripped-off by Zbiddy and other “auction” sites are not going to get any satisfaction complaining on Consumer Complaint sites. If the US consumer Protection agencies and Federa l Trade Commission allows these rip-off artist to prey on unsuspecting fools, then there must be some legitimate way they can operate on the web. Think about it, if they are crooks and break laws, they will be sut down. So far, I see nothing like that.
Ken August 13, 2011, 12:40 pm
Thanks everyone. Like many of you I got to the cc info site and got a little suspicious and decided to give it a quick goolge. It sounded a litte too good to be trueish.
Mike Reed August 16, 2011, 1:49 pm
People may not like the penny auction model, but that doesn’t make it a scam. These sites clearly require the purchase of a bid package before you can start bidding. People who miss that, then accuse the site of stealing from their accounts, are either liars or morons. You aren’t guaranteed to win on penny auctions like zbiddy, so there’s some risk involved, but some would say that’s what makes it fun.
Elina August 21, 2011, 4:24 am
I was scared to spend my money on Zbiddy because of the information thrown out by Google. However, I gave a try and today I have won items worth triple the amount I spent. On penny auctions, not everyone wins. So, some one is definitely going to lose. When someone loses for once then they are full with negative views about a site and this is not ethical. People who have lost even once on sites like Zbiddy tend to defame it by saying scam, fraud, etc. But the reality is you spend your bids wisely on auctions and see the results. I am waiting for my another item from Zbiddy.com!!
Talena August 22, 2011, 12:44 pm
All i have to say is if u want to try anything that u have to put in cc info buy one of those prepaid cc so that they cant do nothin to ur account and they wont be able to take nothin out that they r not suppose to.
Ricky August 29, 2011, 3:42 pm
This penny auction site is pretty nice. Customer Support is also nice. High Cost items close at more than $10. But overall, this site can be trusted.

Big time Scam.
Will charge your credit card $60 to $159.
With out you knowing it.
I am sure any Good review on Zbiddy is one of them.
They want your Credit Card. $$$$$$$
Stay away.

Sunshine September 26, 2011, 11:16 pm
I think zbiddy should be classified as a gambling site, not an “penny”, “auction” site.
Their “auctions” can be endless, and since when does it cost money to place a bid in an auction?
$15.00 dollars for 25 bids, not to mention the rest of the other crazy bid package prices they have.
Just 25 clicks, and $15.00 is gone… Or… You can buy another package of more bids in the heat of the moment…
Just pray you get lucky enough to win a $300.00 item, after you’ve already blew a load of money buying bids.
Should you get lucky… You still pay an “auction fee” and shipping costs.
zbiddy is a gambling site, not an auction site.
Recommend people stick to “real” auctions like eBay, where you dont pay a “penny” unless you win.

lisa September 28, 2011, 1:18 am
figured I’d try it for the hell of it…knew I was probably throwing away $159…I did…if you want to spend hours watching people constantly add another 14 seconds to the auction ending time…it’s about who goes to bed last…the person who said it’s better to go to the Apple store had it right…wonderful deal for the site operators though…they are making a killing on the bidding at 60 cents a bid…increments of 1 cent….do the math…wish I’d have thought about it first…oh well; guess I’ll call my cc company and try and dispute the charge…
Jimmy September 30, 2011, 12:08 pm
Overall, Zbiddy is awesome penny auction site. Products there are pretty cheap and you get amazing bargains.
Marcie Drummond July 21, 2012, 2:41 am
DID YOU ACTUALLY WIN ANYTHING AND RECIEVE IT WITHOUT ANY HIDDEN CHARGES?
Jackie H. October 10, 2011, 3:49 pm
Zbiddy is not a scam. It’s a penny auction, which means you pay each time you bid, and the last bidder gets the item. The opportunity to win products at discounted prices is very real; in most cases, the winning bidder pays a fraction of the item’s retail cost. You just have to be smart about when and how you bid since each bid has monetary value.
Geoffrey October 16, 2011, 2:01 pm
Thank u guys for the info. I just registered and got to the point i was asked to provide my credit card info, and i was smart about it to google these comments. Those people are scanners , period! I still prefer eBay and I think it’s the best.

ZZZZ DUDDY November 9, 2011, 10:20 am
I bid infrequently on several penny auctions..the absolute worse is zbiddy.
When I was nor acive for a few weeks, zbiddy inundated me with as many as 30 scam emails a day-flooding my email account with garbage. At the time, I was on vacation and not in a position to deal with this poorly run company.
Upon returning home, I attempted to locate an unsubscribe link-but there is no easy or self evident unsub or opt out option.
When I finALLY got attention, I was told it would be 10 says before my membership ans these emaila wiuls cease. Do they think we are dumb? unsubing should be the work of a moment-and it no way should take 10 days. This is the most foolish statement a tech company could eve make.
Keep away from this sleazy compqany…it will just cost you more money AND heaps of frustration in the long run.

Thanks for the information. I too thought I’d try it. Luckily I read your site before I attempted to do so.

Worst scamming site I have ever seen and tried! Wasted $99 and got nothing. If you have no life and are extremely wealthy who can keep buying bids, then this is for you! I learned the lesson the hard way! Save yourself the time and money!!!!!
Joey C November 24, 2011, 12:26 am
This zbiddy.com site is pathetic. I’m a member of 2 other penny auctions. DO NOT USE ZBIDDY! They rip you off by limiting the total number of auctions to about 10 at any given time. With 150 people bidding on 10 auctions, the prices all go sky high to the point where if you do win it, the cost of your bids plus the item price, make it cheaper to just not use the site! I spent $250 on bids, even used their free to bid to get lots of extra bids. Bid on a $100 walmart card, and several other items. Went through 1200 bids, no joke! They reduce the value of bids also to make them worth nothing so you cant just buy now items like you can on Quibids.com. Shipping is more than any other site I have been on. Every auctions, takes hours! And I mean hours. I’m still waiting on this auction to finish that started a noon today, and its not 1:24am. It is up to $79 for a $100 Walmart gift card. That is 7900 bids. All wasting like 10 seconds. Figure anyone who used 20 normal bids, just spent more to get the card than going to Walmart. So do not use this site. Try some place else out.
Cmartin November 25, 2011, 2:14 am
Definitly a trap. $69 wasted someone out bid me by 1 penny and I had no more credits . Understand its a gamble and I always loose at gambling.
Katynca November 27, 2011, 4:58 am
I have played the game at zbiddy for about 3 months off and on. I “won” a 32′ panasonic tv RECEIVED and a Kitchen Aide Blender and a set of very expensive steak knives. ALL RECIEVED.

coolit November 27, 2011, 7:49 am
I’m new to zbiddy. I just joined two days ago – won my first bid. You just have to have a game on what to do and how to spend your bids wisely. Not sure about the 159 fee though – we’ll see. Hope it doesn’t charge me that much. I know you have to buy a set of pennies to bid – that I know.
Mike Armstrong December 9, 2011, 6:54 pm
ZBiddy is a scam. First of all the email I received was a Spam that looked like it was from Overstock.com ( I have forwarded them to Overstock.com’s legal department ), then after I signed up and started to place my bids I noticed that instead of taking 1 bid at a time it was taking 2 or 3. I called them and a customer service rep logged into my account and tried it. He said ” Hey I guess it does ” I was told a service tech would call me on Monday, well after 5 days I had to call them. After them offering me 60 free bids to make it up to me, I told them I wanted a full refund. Their floor manager Andrew and I called my credit card company so I could get it instantly put back. Well guess what? It didn’t happen. They screwed with the wrong guy. I’m calling the Florida AG’s office, the BBB, you name it. They are scam artists.
gerald December 12, 2011, 4:59 pm
they r scam artists i am glad i did not get into it
Marcie Drummond July 21, 2012, 2:56 am
GOOD FOR YOU, HAVE YOU HEARD FROM THEM OR DID YOU GET A REFUND? This is the kind of scam that needs to be on the news in EVERY state and if everyone that has been burned by them would join together, we could make it happen.
br January 3, 2012, 7:40 pm
I just looked at the site and was charged $99, just like everyone else. Via chat tonight, they said they would refund and to call, but I have a feeling I’m in for an argument with them. SCAM is Zbiddy!!
Wow. March 12, 2012, 4:42 pm
I honestly can’t believe all these people claiming it’s a scam because they were stupid enough to put their credit card info into a site they know nothing about. When I registered & it tried asking for my info, I just clicked back to the home page to see if it would let me proceed without the credit card info. Guess what? It did. They gave me something like 10 free bids, and I found it relatively easy to win (nothing big, I avoided the big items because I knew I had no chance to win them with only 10 measly bids). If you put your credit card info into a random site & then wonder, “Hey, why did they charge me? I thought they would just hold onto my credit card info for no reason at all!”, then you, my friend, are a dumbass. A fool and his money……
Furthermore, if you think that these sites are a scam because “everytime a bid is placed, the clock resets! No fair!” Ummm….hello dumbass, that’s how all these sites work. It’s to give everyone a chance. You’re better off avoiding these sites anyway; if you’re too lazy to read “Terms & Conditions” before signing up for something, save yourself the trouble & DON’T SIGN UP. People amaze me with their stupidity…….
neo March 28, 2012, 1:06 am
Zbiddy is best penny auction website. Everyone should try this website.

This site is taking people
s hard earned money and the are raking it a 159 dollars at a time its amazing if I took a 159 dollars from someone I would be in jail however these Co have a license to steal from honest hard working people it is a disgrace peiord
Karen Bason July 2, 2012, 8:23 pm
Most of the gift cards I “won” here at Zbidddy and I am ahead of the game. There is a “learning curve” for which I paid BUT it is entertaining and IF you have some guts and self control you will come out ahead.
pete massey July 20, 2012, 1:37 pm
This site ithen s a total SCAM! They take your card info, which is normal for an auction site, you cant have people bidding with no way to pay, then you’re forwarded to thier site where you realize you’ve just paid $99.00 for 260 bids. I thought, well you got me, so I bid on a magazine subscription and 25 bids, and won! I tht en went to pay for my prize and found out they were going to charge me $19.95 shipping FOR A MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION!!!! So I went to thier online chat, and was told at first they couldnt find my account info, then when they did find it I was given a toll free number to call. I have been on the phone ever since. A good penny auction site is DealDash, sometimes you win but you can always option to pay full price and get your bids back. DONT EVEN GIVE ZBUDDY THE CHANCE!!!
lynette walker August 4, 2012, 2:37 am
It is a rip off scam as far as I’m concerned with ZBIDDY.com!I had been trying to do something simple for my family of four on Welfare assistance, wanting to possibly have option to make us purchases, and had never heard of penny auctions, but I’m getin’ to know them now!I initially thought it was something like ebay at fist glance, clicked on a “bid” goin on,n got sent to screen automatically to register.Mind you yes I have bad vision etc.,n filled in my creditcard info, because NOWHERE DOES IT STATE THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOUR CARD IMMEDIATELY ONCE YOU SUBMIT YOUR ENTIRE INFO N” CARD CLEARS!!!!LET ALONE A LARGE AMOUNT!!!!The charge buys you a certain amnt of bids for you to use, plus if you do “win”the item your bidding on,depending what it is they base fee off of,but YOU ALSO GET TO PAY SHIPPING THAT VARIES IN AMOUNT!!!!N YES WHEN YOU BID ON WHAT LITTLE THATS AVAILABLE THE CLOCK ADDS MORE TIME!!!! NOOO THANKS,NOW I NEED TO FIGURE HOW TO CLOSE & ERASE ALL INFO CUZ I CANT AFFORD POSSIBLE LARGE SHIPPING FEES!!!!
Nino August 19, 2012, 10:03 pm
I thank ALL of you! Guys, you literally saved my life. I was about to do that, because of my great wish to have an Ipad I wanted to register and it seemed really nice, but something made me google it and read people’s opinions about the web site. I am so grateful for the people you spoke out and wrote about their experiences. And I am sorry for the ones who lost their money and time. Life goes on. Our mistakes teach us the good lessons. And again, Thank you, guys, very much.

I got this email from zbiddy about over stock items selling 90% cheaper, it sounded to go
to be real but i still went ahead to check it out. As i register for there website i was ask to put
in my cc info, i had no idea after i register i was going to be charged 99$. Im now hoping
after i call my bank i can get my money back cuz there is no way u can win an item with out
paying full price for it with the bids at 60 cents each.

I saw online ad for zbiddy so wanted to double check before i join. I just joined using your coupon. Thanks and they added free 20 bids after about 15 minutes. It seems to be automated. I am enjoying the bidding so far and hope to win something big. I will report back on how it goes

DO NOT USE! The complaints you read are all TRUE! They take your money for the bids that are basically worthless! I’m sure they have automated robots that bid up the price and after watching several of the products during the last phases of the bidding one of their robots jumps right into the bidding and WINS the product! What a deal for them, they can sell it again and get all the money from people like me that are paying to bid on the product. They also have an indicator on the site for “connectivity” and as the bidding gets down to the last few seconds when it becomes obvious they are getting ready to close the bid all of a sudden you get messages “communication lost” “invalid bid” and the connectivity goes to zero. ONLY happens at the end they kick you out so their robots can win the bids! ALSO this is not a US company, you are also charged foreign transaction fees!

Besides being taken for 29.00 but was given 50.00 Resturant.com card. TheHotelCard.com I bought has so far been worthless. Can’t make resvervation at site. I have call 6 times no answers recording, I havel left 2 messages. Read on line they are also a Ripoff after I bought card. If I do get to use my Resturant.com card I will break even. I’m afraid to bid on anything else. wish I could give my 240 bids to someone that likes to bid on a chance to be RIPPED OFF

I have never bid on any item from Zbiddy—i have not even heard of Zbiddy—this morning when i checked my online bank account, i found 99$ had been taken out by a company called Zbiddy—i hit BING and found there telephone no. —suppossedly i am to get my money back in 3 to 5 days—but that got me to wondering how did they get my CC NO. the only thing i could come with is a large co who shall go nameless at this time, put up a pretty good deal and i gave my CC NO DUMBASS is what some gentleman used quite correctly—i sure hate to think at any rate that this is where they got the CCNO MY hope is they will send me back the 99 DOLLARS—this DUMBASS has intentions of causing some trouble–let you know how i make out

This site is a rip off, To start off I tried to leave site after browsing and it kept saying Wait Wait we are offering you 82 Bid’s for 18.99 and I had a Coupon for 50% off so I signed up for a supposed $9.00 plus 25 free bids for watching a video. I checked my E-mail and it said that I was charged $70.00 so I called a what a Joke they would not honor the 18.99 amount or at least the 50% off of 70.00..They claimed that they can not refund money that is BS…So here it came we will give you a 200.00 fuel gift card well that is a joke..It is some rebate thing that you have to send in with 10.00 increment’s with a receipt and the exclusions are very sketchy at best..So then as I am angry I bid on some stuff restraunt E-card and supposedly you can pick out the restraunt place to eat what a joke that is no it has so many exclusions that it can’t be used I have 200.00 worth of nothing so I thought well they won’t give my money back I am screwed so I bought 4 hotel gift card’s 300.00 worth the way it states you get the card in the mail from Hotels.com/Priceline and what a flipin Joke No there are no gift cards you have to go through such a process and they allow 1 discount per visit and they Pricline-Hotel.com will credit your credit card 25 50 100 200 but the stay’s sometimes require 6 night’s how is that usable off to the BBB I want my money back and I am pretty sure they have fake’s bidding on anything that is legitament and they charge 2.50 and up to mail the gift card’s that are not really gift card’s but a impossible with all the exclusions and if you buy a magazine for say 2.00 they charge 18.00 S & H plus there fee of 2 plus What a joke fly by the seat of there pan’t company..I tried B-zid 2 years ago and they re-funded my money for bid’s that I hadn’t used in 60 day’s I did not ask I just had not been on so if they can re-fund why can’t this company SCAM SCAM SCAM Zbiddy is a scam company try a legit one never them..Hopefully BBB can make them re-fund my money and they can keep all the Hotel and restraunt and gas stuff that is not usable…

Well I just signed up today and there was a promo for $13.50 for 25 bids or something.. well after processing it charged me $45. So I called and he immediately refunded it and I do see the money back on my online banking. I did however recieve a free spin and won 7 bids or something so I bid on some 3 day 2 night hotel accomodation to one of 35 destinations. (I live in Toronto, so I am going to pick the montreal or niagara one) I’ll let you know what happens when I receive the hotel request forms

I tried using a $50 cash card, what a mistake. I never got the code, finally after 4 sessions with customer service I got the code. It took me 5 tries to get it activated. Once activated I found that the hotel I was interested in (found on Priceline.com) is not offered on the Priceline activation site. They say they only offer 3,4,& 5 star hotel when in fact they did not should any hotels available in Tacoma, Wa for out time period. They true Priceline.com site did. I would not waste my time on the Hotel cash cards!
