Just found out about SevenSnap from the Penny Auction Insider and thought you would be interested in hearing about it. blog (Thanks, It’s a great blog, check it out!).

Watch SevenSnap’s video, they’ve used a pretty catchy/cheerful song from MIKA:

SevenSnap Sneak-Preview (EN) from Tobias Hieb on Vimeo.

It’s not a penny auction, but SevenSnap does fall under the category of entertainment style shopping.  If Apple approves the SevenSnap App it will be available for iPhone and iPod Touch users and they may possibly even have a web version.

How does it work? Well, according to SevenSnap, every 60 minutes they will offer a new product from consumer electronics to travel and leisure. The price of an item drops every second, in order to see what the price is and be elligible to snap (purchase) the item you must be in the Snap Room. By entering the Snap Room via your iPod/iPhone you will be charged $1/minute until you exit the room.

The more people that are in the Snap Room at the same time the faster the price of the product will drop by, a maximum of $100/minute. The first person to click the order now at the price they want gets the item for that price and the item is relisted.

This whole concept is pretty interesting.  SevenSnap is currently seeking beta testers (50 total) so sign up now to try SevenSnap when they launch, that is IF Steve Jobs approves the SevenSnap app.

SevenSnap currently has a MacBook Pro Sweepstakes that you can enter by following SevenSnap on Twitter and tweeting this:

RT @SevenSnap, the new Entertainment Shopping App for the iPhone is giving away a MacBook Pro.
