The owner of the new penny auction site recently introduced his site  on our forum and invited PAW members to test. Live2Bid plans on opening tomorrow after a successful night of beta testing tonight.

Penny Auction Watch: What got you interested in the entertainment shopping industry?

Well, I have sold on Ebay a lot in the past years and I also love the idea behind Penny Auctions. I am a Penny Auction user myself and have been very frustrated with some of the shortcomings of current Penny Auction Sites. I see a big opportunity to improve the customer’s experience in this industry. Some of the things that I personally have experienced is lack of customer service after the auction is over, site scams, slow shipment of items, little or no email confirmation of shipment, etc.  We here at Live2Bid have the following company rules that will NOT be broken:

  1. There will NEVER be any Auto Bots, Shills, or Live2Bid Admin Bids.
  2. All winning auction prices will be given to Charity each week on behalf of Auction Winners and Live2Bid.
  3. Live2Bid vows to offer the best customer service that you will find among all Penny Auction Sites.
  4. Quick response to bidder requests.
  5. Proactive newsletter and E-mail to all members in the event of any site issues.
  6. Quick response to won auctions in shipping of your prize.
  7. Shipping confirmation w/ tracking numbers so you can track your exciting prize to your door.

Penny Auction Watch: When will you open?

Friday December 11th we are having a special night for all PAW members who have been so very helpful in testing over the last few weeks. This will serve as a stress test of the system and the auctions are live.

Depending on the outcome of this final live test, Live2Bid plans to open Saturday December 12th with auctions scheduled to end around 5 P.M. EST.

Penny Auction Watch: What kind of items do you have lined up?  Will your auctions run on a schedule?

In the beginning we will be offering gift cards, electronic items, game systems, netbooks, and bid packs. Yes we will run on a schedule and will being at 6pm Monday – Friday and at 1pm Saturday & Sunday EST. We will change the schedule as necessary, but will keep our members updated.

Penny Auction Watch: What are the timer increments between bids/does this vary by auction?

Timers will increase 15 seconds with each bid and a maximum of 30 seconds when autobidders activate which is with about 3 seconds left on the timer and should not vary by auction.

Penny Auction Watch: How much are your bids?

Below are the bid packs and prices:

  • 25 Bid Pack – $20.00 ($.80 per bid)
  • 50 Bid Pack – $37.50 ($.75 per bid)
  • 100 Bid Pack – $70.00 ($.70 per bid)
  • 250 Bid Pack – $162.50 ($.65 per bid)
  • 500 Bid Pack – $300.00 ($.60 per bid)

Penny Auction Watch: What are your shipping costs?

For most items, shipping will be between $4.95 and $9.95. Other items will be free shipping.

Penny Auction Watch: Are there win limits, limits /household?

Yes, there will be win limits enforced within the first few weeks and Live2Bid is still working out the limits. (I will be polling PAW members for opinions)

Live2Bid will not allow more than one account per household, ip address, or email.

Penny Auction Watch: Is there a story behind the name/theme?

Yes there is. I was actually wanting Bid2Live, but it was taken. Our tagline is ‘live a little…’ ‘bid a little…’ ‘Win A Lot!!!’ Bid2Live wants to give back to society in these hard economic times as well as to be a successful Penny Auction Site. The name and tagline is geared towards living life and giving to life.

Can you tell us more about how you donate to charity?

Live2Bid will be sending all of the won auction end prices once a week to a charity of the month. I am asking everyone to submit their favorite charity and Live2Bid will pick one for each month. Live2Bid is starting this from the beginning and as Live2Bid builds a solid member base we will also be including all Shipping to be given to charity. We will have a special page with each payment transaction and totals for the week posted for everyone to see that Live2Bid is doing just that!

The Live2Bid team wants to thank all of the beta test members that have worked hard every single day bidding on auctions that they knew were not real. We have received wonderful communication through our online helpdesk and would not be going live without their help! We are excited to go live and will always be here for the customer. Please give us a try and you will not be disappointed!

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more pops over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you afore know about the matter. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is slightly to that “headache” saying after all.

I really love the idea of having bidders choose a charity each month. Good luck with the site!
