HungryHammer.com High Cloud Media Ltd GONE

Well it looks like HungryHammer.com (High Cloud Media, LTD) is now gone. We’ve sent e-mails to both HungryHammer.com and High-cloud.com as well as called their US 800 number, all e-mails have returned undeliverable and the phone number only rings and does not go to voicemail.

From the beginning we have been skeptical of HungryHammer.com, especially when they said they invested 150,000 (That’s $240,087.86!) for the creation of their website:

http://hungry-hammer.com/ may have quite possibly been a shilled review site to quell concerns surrounding HungryHammer.com, because when you search “HungryHammer + Scam” in Google their review site is what comes up. The owner of that review site came on our forum a few months back to defend his unaffiliated position with HungryHammer, the IP addresses of both users and registrants were separate.

PAW users are now telling us that they have not received items won from as  far back as August, 2009.

It looks like HungryHammer.com also had the domains sweepo.net as well as sweepingup.net, both forward to hungryhammer.com.

Here’s what we know about sweepingup.net:

  • “High Cloud Media Ltd” owns about 27 other domains View these domains >

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more pops over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you along know about the question. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical cause, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is slightly to that “headache” saying after all.

Interesting Article – Mr Alistair Powell has recently turned up (early 2010) in Miami Beach as a real estate agent working for ONE Sotheby’s International Realty in Miami Beach.

Upon his arrivial he began to create his own personal press releases and marketing media that spoke in great accolades about how he is a highly successful international real estate agent with over a decade of experience. His press releases continued on about all of his success in the U.K. during his time in the real estate industry.

With all the claims he was making around his office and online in the Miami Beach real estate market, a few of his fellow employees starting digging a bit and found the/your U.K. based articles and blog entries about 7CI and Hungry Hammer. As you can imagine that caused a stir.

He was confronted about the stories that were dug up via google searches by those curious co-workers and he went into major damage control and he andhis father wrote an open letter to all at his new employer (One Sotheby’s Realty Miami Beach). He explained that the 7CI catastrophe was due to their bank in the U.K. inexplicably denying their line of credit. He loosely described how he, his father and other partner did absolutely nothing wrong. He went on to say that they had a great company but we’re inexplicably caught up in the looming banking crisis. He also alluded that there was some politics involved in why their company was singled out, but he kept that accusation very vague.

In this open letter, he also briefly addressed his try in the Penny Auction website business. He described penny auction websites to be very similar to Ebay and that he did poorly in that business due to the economic downturn and the fact that people in the U.K. had less disposable income to spend for the luxury items he was trying to auction. As Penny Auction sites are not well known here in the U.S. those that weren’t a bit savvy or didn’t care to investigate more thoroughly seem to have bought that bit of fiction and spin. Alistair Powell certainly can spin a story when he needs to.

Speaking of spin – It appears that after nearly a year in the U.S. we still can’t find record of a single sale. However that does not stop Alistair Powell from describing himself as a “Top Miami Beach Realtor” and/or “The Premiere Miami Beach Realtor”. His self aggrandizing postings far outweigh the reality of his abilities. But that shouldn’t surprise anyone that has ever dealty with this particular character.

Penny auctions have been mentioned in Wired.com, The Denver Post, Time Magazine, MSNBC just Friday, Reuters, news/radio, ABC News, CBS and others. This US based site predominately discusses US penny auctions. Interesting comment – penny auctions are not like ebay, consumers pay by the bid to get a chance to win and as is evidenced here many sites use bots/shills. From my memory, I know there are screenshots somewhere I don’t think he auctioned off luxury items.

        Hi Amanda,

Thanks for taking the time to post the ownership info for the domains and business we are talking about.

I am absolutely in agreement that penny auction sites are nothing like Ebay.

The point I wanted to make very clear to all was that this Alistair Powell character was able to spin a story about the kind of business he was doing as the owner of a penny auction website company, and unfortunately our co-workers bought into it.

The fact that his 7CI company caused countless people to lose much money and that he left the UK and declared Bankruptcy / Insolvency is never mentioned by him when he posts his own self agrandizing press releases about his accomplishments and skills as an “International Realtor”.
