It looks like penny auction BidRaptor.com is now gone.
A user on our forum told us that she has not received items from them, she also “won” an HDTV on BidRaptor, only for them to void her bid.

Basically, what this means is that if BidRaptor determines that they have not made enough profit on an auction, the auction is null and void. They still have the right to charge you for the item PLUS shipping, they don’t have to ship the item, they don’t have to tell you that they won’t be shipping it until you send them numerous emails requesting information, they don’t have to offer you a refund on the money you paid for the item (please note that there is no mention of a refund in their response — guess that means that I have to fight for that now), they don’t even have to offer you anything in exchange for their gross negligence. Also, please note that their is no mention of the Nokia. I cannot begin to tell you how outraged I am at BidRaptor treating a customer like this.
If you want my opinion of BidRaptor — I would have to say it’s right up there at the top of my “scam sites”. If things change, I’ll let everyone know but I’m not holding out much hope of that happening at this time.

Update on my battle with BidRaptor:
I just received notification from PayPal that I have won my final dispute/claim with BidRaptor.
It appears that BidRaptor has vanished (HUGE surprise!) and will no longer be able to swindle unsuspecting customers…at least until they open with a new name. Be careful if you ever find a site operating with the names of Mark Gadeh or MIG Apparel
