SwipeBids Auction for MacBook + iPad + 50,000 Bids Gone Wrong?

UPDATE: A user has commented to tell us that this site does allow users to bid against themselves.

swipebids

Just a few days ago penny auction SwipeBids (the infamous), had an auction for a MacBook + an iPad + 50,000 bids (valued at $10k!), seriously, and here’s something odd, the bidder bhipocket was able to outbid himself 3x. For those of you that have tried SwipeBids, is it even possible to outbid yourself?

We’ve received over 100 comments from users dissatisfied with SwipeBids.com & have discovered that the person behind SwipeBids has received many complaints from his other online businesses. Read all of our previous posts & comments here.

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more popular over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you already know about the matter. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical why, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is something to that “headache” saying after all.

buddy, he is not out-bidding himself. bhipocket just clicked on the BID button, 3 times continuously and so his name is there like that on the page. Even a newbie, who registered on swipebids.com would know that you can bid any number of time on any product and even continuously.

I just joined the group of people scammed from this site. i called the Federal Trade Association and gave them my issue and after telling them all the issue all they did was give me a reference number and told me that they cannot help me, they only respond to business's and then only watch for a trend, so screwed again.

Actually, the FTC got in touch with me personally. They are taking reports, and there is an attorney looking into this. They DO NOT just respond to businesses and I would be slightly perplexed if they told you that considering they admonish people to report bad business issues to them via their website. As far as I can tell, they have hundreds of complaints regarding swipebids and possibly thousands in regards to the owner of Swipebids. I am the founder of the main facebook group of activists against Swipebids. I think you can bet I know a few things. =) Trust me, there is a serious investigation in the works.

Its not Outbidding, its called unnecessary bidding. They are placing multiple bids when not necessary. Although who said any bid is necessary on swipebids… Bots and roaches win anything of value anyway. 10k freakin laugh out loud!!! Swipebids is high on mushrooms and crack cocaine.

I have been hearing all these story's about how people have been scammed on swipebids. I have been a member for about 2 plus months, and have never been scammed, I have won, and received everything that I won in a timely manner. Have won at least 35 gift cards…. 9- 160 GB Ipods…. 1 Sony playstation 3….. 1 Visio 32 inch HDTV….. 4 Sony Playstation portables…..2 Nintendo dsi..

The only time I had any type of a problem was when I won the Visio, it didn't show up in my account, so I was not able to pay for it, the next day I contacted them and they said I did not win it, but, once they checked my auto-bidder they saw that I did in fact win, had my HDTV about 10 days later.

I am sure that those of you who feel that you were scammed are right, it just that I have not experienced that, and I hope I don't. I also know whoever reads this is thinking that I work for swipebids……..IT IS NOT TRUE…

I have always wanted to comment on this subject but just to lazy to do it, just my 4 cents worth.

This site Swipe Bids is the most crooked thing I have ever seen. If you go to the last page of products that will be sold in a few hours, and they have the same bidders bidding on about 20 items at the same time. Every day a different set of people. Then they use them to inflate bid prices by constantly bidding. Folks this is the biggest rip off I have ever seen. Question there help line and then you are no longer speaking to any one on there chat line. Emai and then they stop replying by mail! This group should be hog tied and put away for a long long time!

This is for aswipebidder July 29th 2010 1.50am

the same thing happened to my wife a while back she won a MacBook but found out that another bidder won it,like you we sent a email immediately they checked my wife's autobidding history and it was as plain as day that she was the winner but those asswipes claimed that the other bidder won it and another time my wife won a Ipod which was in her account come the next morning those asswipes removed the Ipod from her account no matter how many emails we sent we got one very poor response then in their warped minds the case was resolved.

It's quite obvious they pick and choose the winners even when you win you don't win.

I hope real soon they bring that mongrel down.

Can you tell me how to get in touch with the FTC about this group? I was really taken. I thought about calling the District Attorney of the state of business but did not know if it was Utah or New York.
