Yet another penny auction script developer to enter the Penny Auction Watch Hall of Shame…
This weekend I received an e-mail in my personal inbox from emarketer@yadavwelfare.com advertising the penny auction script company, PennyAuctionScriptGuru.com.
To my surprise, ok this actually isn’t very surprising, I’ve posted about and exposed many developers who sell and promote the use of admin bot bidders (shills) here over the past 2+ years, these guys have robot admin shill bidders right out of the box for anyone, any shady penny auction operator that is, to use to their desire.
The script company is run by Guru Technologies in India, the e-mail began with an apology if the e-mail wasn’t applicable to me.
Penny Auction Script Guru’s admin demo page can be accessed at pennyauctionscriptguru.com/manager, the username and password, admin, that they provided doesn’t work, but one of our members (Thanks for looking out!) recently posted that he too had received this e-mail and provided us with admin login info that worked. Username: howdy, Password: cowboy. Click on the admin tab.
In the e-mail, Penny Auction Script Guru even tells us that we can “Manage Robot Bidder – robot bidder to place automatic bids.”
Penny auction operators and script developers who are using robot bidders, manually shill bidding and not shipping items out all need to be held accountable. This is why I firmly believe that penny auctions need to be regulated and the shady operators prosecuted.
What exactly is a robot bidder? According to PennyAuctionScriptGuru.com’s FAQs:

We just hope that none of these penny auction sites are taking Guru’s advice and using the programmed bot bidder, which may I add, is very easy to set and use.

As you can see here, it’s very easy to add robot bidders in this script, any name can be given to them:
In the same page that a penny auction site’s admin would add new items they can add robot bidders, and specify when they will stop bidding.
PennyAuctionScriptGuru.com is not the only penny auction script developer that is selling and promoting the use of bots to both shady and unsuspecting penny auction site operators, there are tons more.
I’ve said it before and will say it again, Enough IS Enough!

first of all i want to clear that bots was available before 2 year with our script, now we do not develop any bots for penny auction script EVEN only none of our clients use bot.
better to verify yourself.

as for as my concern poster of this post has some personal issues that is why he is abusing us with out any proof.

It is never my intention to abuse anyone or post without proof in any posts that are made here on Penny Auction Watch. However, the e-mail that you sent out just this weekend stated that you had robot bidders, the terms that were on your site when this was posted yesterday also suggested that the bots were so companies did not lose money. I am glad to hear that you do not sell scripts with this now but would like to just provide a suggestion that you don’t advertise it if you don’t sell it. Thanks for your comment.

we both know that using bots is not legal. we respect our user’s money.

i guess you have some personal issues, when i am requesting you to review new one script rather then old one.
but you are keep on abusing us EVEN we are agree to co operate if you find any issue with script.

Can you resend the e-mail?
Yes, I did find out and what I found out suggests that you still sold script with bots. Not sure why you would run the risk of selling and promoting something that’s illegal especially after the OFT cracked down on PhpPennyAuction, the company you actually seem to have copied your FAQs from.. i.e. Google the FAQ Auto bot function and you’ll find the notice from the UK government office.
Also – I never gave you my email address and I don’t think bidders did either. What database?

AMANDA, this guy is a SCAMMER! Do not trust “Guru” i tried to work with him two months ago to develop a script (not a auction script) and he completely tried to scam me with his shoddy work. He has absolutely no TALENT and will DRAG your project along.
p.s. HE doesn’t accept paypal because he is a S_C_A_M artist.

This sounds like the script and the autobot may be from a scammer, especially if they are not accepting PayPal payments. After payment the access to the script will probably never happen.
So many scams are using Western Union now. It should be a red flag for anyone doing any kind of commerce online.
