Winnit.com is one of the longest running (lowest-unique) bid penny auction sites. In fact, they’ve been open for over 3 years now.
What is a Unique Bid Auction?
There are definitely not as many lowest-unique pay to bid penny auctions as there are traditional penny auctions, so you may not yet be familiar with how they work.
The Basics of Lowest-Unique Bid Sites
Lowest-unique bid penny auction sites charge per-bid to “place a bid,” which is basically just guess which bid is going to be the lowest unique bid on an item.
What is a lowest-unique bid?
Instead of bidding and the clock ticking down, in this type of penny auction users place bid amounts, i.e. $0.01, $0.21, $1.30, $5.23, $0.17, any amount that they want to place and can even place bids (on most sites) for a range of numbers. The strategy behind this type of penny auction is that you need to have placed a bid on the amount that is the lowest number closet to 0 that another user has not yet placed a bid on.
How do you know if you have the lowest-unique bid?
There are timers that will tell you when the auction is going to close, so it could be better to place your bids closer towards to end as other users could always place bids and take away your unique bid. The best lowest-unique bid sites, in my opinion, are the ones that provide you with signals indicating whether or not your bid is the lowest unique bid at the moment. Some, I know Winnit does this, will tell you a range of bids that will include a lowest-unique. The status of your bid is updated when another bidder ca

That’s quite the win list!
He’s told us that he’s been sending e-mails to Winnit’s support every week about his overdue items.
Since December 28th they’ve told him that his request for a timeline of when his items will be received has been forwarded to management who is “working on it.” “They have been sending me a few items, either physically or as credit since then, but nothing close to the total no. of items.”
The last message he received from Winnit last month: “Unfortunately we have no updates to give. We have been told that the problem is being worked on and we hope that it will be resolved as quickly as possible.
Sincerely,
Winnit Support”
“They’ve admitted that they’re behind in shipping for all users not just me, and I have items since last Jun that they haven’t shipped! I need to make folks aware of the situation since Winnit is still posting new items, expensive ones, including a car in March, and they haven’t even sent items they owe yet.”
So why is it that Winnit is having trouble fulfilling won items to what appears to be well over $35k worth to just one user, but can offer a car? Sound familiar?
What have your experiences been with Winnit? Have you received all of your won items?

That’s why online pharmacies is becoming more popular over the last years. Well-known are remedies which are used to reduce inflammation caused by inflammation of the skeletal muscle etc. There were only few examples. Did somebody tell you about canadian generic Viagra? Maybe you yet know about the matter. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical condition. Even when it has a physical why, psychological problems can make the disorder worse. Sex drive problems are so commonly a product of how you feel that there is something to that “headache” saying after all.

I am not surprised. However the bidder must take responsibility as well. Why did he(she) continue to buy bids and participate in the auctions after a time (let’s say 90 days) if he was not getting the items won. I am always amazed that auction sites which are NOT sending out the items won continue to stay in business because bidders who have been ripped off continue to send them money, in the forms of buying bids, regardless. Who in their right mind would go into a store (or even a casino) and continue to do business with an entity who makes promises and does not deliver. This also is terribly unfair because new bidders who are not aware of the delivery problems end up unknowingly throwing their money away. It is always “customer beware” or begain to act rationally regarding sites and their businesses.
Winnit bidder April 6, 2013, 1:18 pm
@ninelives, you’re right about the bidder taking responsibility. However, since this has happened to me, I can say this: I have been bidding on Winnit for around 3 years. Their SLA to ship items has always been 30 days, and they have been late 60 or even 90 days in the past. The support was always responsive and friendly, and eventually I used to get my items. That’s the reason I kept bidding, since I was getting a trickle of items till around Dec 2012, then realized that it’s way too slow, and asked them to ship faster since items are longer and longer overdue. That’s when they started giving suspicious evasive responses, shipping even less items less frequently. That caused me to completely stop bidding in Jan 2013. FWIW.

Thanks Amanda for posting this. Note that I’ve also filed complaints with the Attorney General of my state (consumer protection division), and the FTC. The Attorney General indicated that they’ve forwarded the complaint to Winnit.

There is an exiting and reliable penny auction site; BidOink.com. The site is very similar to Quibids.com but in some cases BidOink penny auction site is better then Quibids because you can use 100% of the value of your bids that you have placed previously. So there is no chance to lose any money on Auctions that have the “Buy it Now” option. The bids cost just $0.50 to take part in an auction.

I am out about $1000 in Amazon gift cards from them too. Any idea whats going on with them?
Amanda Lee July 18, 2013, 10:05 pm
Hey Daniel, how long has it been?? Not sure yet!
Daniel Vietmeier September 26, 2013, 9:39 pm
Hi Amanda my items are around 200 business days out now at this point.
Amanda Lee October 1, 2013, 4:29 pm
Hi Daniel, this is very troublesome. Let’s talk about this further
Daniel Vietmeier December 24, 2013, 4:35 pm
Hey Amanda any idea what I should do from here? Its pretty ridiculous because I just paid $250 for more bids about a week before they shut down and they had no problem taking my money either.
Amanda Lee December 26, 2013, 10:30 am
That is ridiculous Daniel. I am very sorry to see this happen. No response, nothing, period?? I’d file a complaint with the state AG office to start – see our scam reporting directory

Hey guys, any response or update from your side? I’m talking to lawyers now to officially sue them, and wanted to know if you’ve had any contact from them.
Winnit bidder August 7, 2013, 1:39 pm
FYI, they haven’t been responding to my support emails since they stopped posting items. Has anyohne received any response? I am still out about $30K+ of items. Researching other means to get what they owe me. If someone has any recommendations, appreciate if you can share. Thanks.
