Christmas Special on SwipeItUp

Penny auction Swipeitup.com is currently running a special, they’re auctioning off 20 mystery Christmas presents per day until tonight (Christmas Eve), and as an added bonus the winner receives all of their bids back.

The Swipe It Up Team is excited to announce our “Very Merry Christmas” Special. Starting Sunday December 19th, and lasting thru Christmas Eve we will be auctioning off 20 Christmas presents per day. Your eyes are not fooling you. There are 20 Christmas presents per day that we will be auctioning off

Here’s the best part. You can only win 1 . So forget about the bullies with seemingly endless amounts of bids that spend tons of money and probably have some left to burn. Once they win 1, they can’t win anymore.

We want to have the most people win as humanly possible; 100 to be exact. While we can’t give everyone a brand new motorcycle, we can give you an item that is valued up to $100.

Also, whoever wins the auction, gets 100% of their bids refunded.

    Hi

Excellent post and the bullies with seemingly endless amounts of bids that spend tons of money and probably have some left to burn. Once they win 1, they can’t win anymore.

I was excited about this until I went and actually looked at the auctions.

Who wants to pay $30 ($14.99 fixed item price plus 14.99 delivery fee) for an unseen item "worth up to $100" ?

Indeed… especially when "up to" can mean from 0.01 to 100.00 max. Might be some chocolate lumps of coal, or some seaweed, or anything.

Hey guys yes there is shipping on all our items and yes the fixed prices of our x-mas items were 14.99. Actually the MSRP on the items we shipped were $89.99 – $129.99. Let me also say that everyone who has won the item can resell it for a profit if they choose not to keep it. This promotion wasn't to make the company any money. Quite the contrary, we were prepared to lose money on every single auction as appreciation for our users. For those who didn't win, see ya next year! For those who did, we hope you enjoy your x-mas present!

    well, I won one of these auctions, but I didn’t realize that it was 15 + 15 = $30!
I’m anxious whether or not I should accept, given the post above me.

Anyone else find any success from these?

    Hey Vinnie,

Even if you don't want it, we still have credited back the winning bids on each of them so you still aren't out anything should you choose not to accept it. However, let me say that we do lose money on the item and it can be resold for a profit across every site we have compared the item up against.

Everyone who has paid the invoice has had their item shipped already as of Saturday December 26th.

    Hey T,
A user just emailed us with the same question so sorry for the double response if that user was you. We put all of the ended auctions above the regular running auctions so users can see who has won previous auctions. However for the X-mas season we have put up our “Merry Christmas” banner. To have all this stuff would take up a lot of “real estate” on the page so we removed the recently ended auctions temporarily. After the holiday season when we remove the banner, we will put it back on there. Hope this helps!

I was one of the Xmas gift winners, 15 + 15 + around $50.00 in bids. I received a radar detector that retails for $32.00 online. What a deal. Now I have bids remaining and the only non fixed auction price item is a $10.00 Amazon card which after bidding over 2 bucks for is now worth a little over $7.00. This is a joke!
